Hello! Thank you for taking some time to read my profile. My name is Jenessa and I love working with children and people of all ages. I am an older sister of two twin brothers and cat mom. A little bit more about me - I am currently work at an elementary school in a T-K class. I have obtained my Bachelors in Early Childhood and Early intervention and music. I am BLS & CPR, CNA as well as RBT certified. A previous role I held was 2 years at HealthPro Pediatrics using behavioral therapy with children with various disorders including autism. In addition, I have loved being a Professional nanny since 2016. This has included working with multiple children newborn-14 with various needs and diagnoses, driving/pickups, bed time routines, meal prep, and other house managing jobs - including your furry friends! A reoccurring family I babysit for has a 8mth, 3, and 5 yr boys. One of my most rewarding positions was at a teen parent program for first time high school moms and their newborns. I have worked long term with quite a few families, have been a preschool teacher, have had many babysitting jobs, been a leader for preschoolers in camps, and have volunteered with special needs kids-adults (briefly with a special needs inclusive theater) to name a few! I am patient, hard-working, flexible, outgoing, trustworthy, and have great references. My hobbies are music, piano, going to the beach, and yoga! In my free time I really enjoy volunteering weekly at the Ronald McDonald House. I love bringing art projects and science projects for the kids I nanny for and I have a lot of different supplies, curriculum - I have picked up over the past few years. I have a clean driving record and I am comfortable picking up from school/taking your children to places like museums or the zoo. Most importantly I care about your child/rens safety, well-being, and happiness. I have loved helping children reach their developmental milestones and being a support system for kiddos who have needed it. The children and families I have worked for long term have become family to me! And I hope to become a new friend to you. My rates vary based on location, number of children, and job duties If this interests you at all feel free to send over a message! I am looking forward to learning more about your specific needs and working with you and your wonderful family, Jenessa

Jenessa, Ms. Jen, was an amazing caregiver to our kids. She arrived on time and had many activities planned with our children. Ms Jen asked questions to ensure she had the right knowledge and understanding of what and how our children would be cared for. She was very knowledgeable in how to communicate to our kids and provided engaging conversation. We had a wonderful experience with Ms Jen and would definitely look forward to her caregiving services in the future.

Hey Families! I’m currently completing my clinical hours toward certification as a Newborn Care Specialist and Postpartum Doula, with a deep passion for supporting families during the earliest and most tender stages of life. I’m seeking opportunities beginning mid-May and beyond. I’ve spent the past several years as the primary caregiver to my younger brother — stepping into that role when he was 7, and now at 13, I’ve supported him through everything from school routines to emotional growth, as well as navigating grief and loss together. That experience has given me deep empathy and patience, especially when working with children who have unique personalities or special challenges. Alongside my career in marketing, I’ve cared for children of all ages — from newborns to preteens — for over 12 years. I’m happy to assist with light meals, homework, tidying up, or pet care. I bring calm structure, warmth, and genuine connection to every home, and I’d love to support a family looking for someone dependable, knowledgeable, and deeply understanding.

The kids took to her immediately, which is always so reassuring. Would absolutely recommend her to anyone look for help with childcare.

Hello! I'm a 23-year-old with seven years of babysitting experience located in San Diego, CA. I enjoy reading, going to the beach, and film photography. I prioritize bonding with kids through quality time, reading, crafts, and exciting adventures.

Payton was so great with our boys. She took them to the playground, fed them dinner and got them off to bed. Both boys said they liked her and would want her to watch them again. Would definitely hire her again!

"We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
