Hello, my name is Alexis but most people call me Alex and I have had over 15 years of experience taking care of animals, children, and a couple seniors to support myself through college. I’ve taken care of one main household for over 13 years and I love their children and animals as if they are my own. At client’s request I am happy to do light housecleaning, cooking, school pick up or drop off, administer medications, and take care of their pets needs as well. I thrive on taking care of the community in a multitude of ways over the years, but taking care of children and animals brings me the most joy.

We were traveling from out of state with our 4 and 2 year and everything went perfectly. Communication was great and she seemed comfortable and confident taking care of our kids. The kids took to her immediately, which is always so reassuring. Would absolutely recommend her to anyone look for help with childcare.

Allie 1 review
San Diego
$20 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 2 families in San Diego, CA

Hi! My name is Allie and I graduated from SDSU in May and got my degree in sociology. I absolutely love working with kids and have had experience with all ages starting at around 4 months all the way up to middle school. I have my own form of transportation and love pets! I am very interested in going back to school to get my Masters in Social Work so in the mean time I am looking to use my creativity and energy to help be a fun nanny for families!

Allie was great! She helped us out with last-minute babysitting for our 2-year-old when we were in a bind. She was communicative, friendly, engaging, and inspired trust. She was great with my daughter. After she left, my toddler, unprompted, told me, "I had fun with Allie." I'd recommend her and would hire her again!

Hi families! My name is Alejandra, and I’m a loving and energetic mom of a 7‑year‑old boy with more than 10 years of experience caring for children of all ages. My favorite way to teach, connect, and support kids is through play, creativity, and sports. I truly believe children learn best when they feel safe, engaged, and having fun. I’m originally from Colombia and now living in San Diego. I’m bilingual (English–Spanish), patient, responsible, and very active. I enjoy organizing games, outdoor activities, reading time, and hands‑on learning moments. I also love cooking, and I’m happy to prepare meals or snacks. I can help with light cleaning, homework, and daily routines.

"We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
