Wipawan $25 per hour for 1 child

Hello Families!! Hello! My name is Wipa, I've had the joy of working as a nanny for the past 10 years experience with a wonderful host family in Ohio. During that time, I cared for their two boys since they were newborns watching them grow has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. September, I will be relocating to San Diego to join my husband, and I'm currently looking for a full-time nanny position starting in mid-October. I truly love working with children. Babysitting and caregiving are not just jobs for me they're my passion. I strive to create a safe, loving, and fun environment for the kids I care for. I'm CPR /BLS certified, and I have completed as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). I'm currently working on obtaining my California LVN license. I have excellent references available from my host family, who would be happy to speak with you. If you'd like to learn more about me, I'd love to set up a or phone call at your convenience. $18 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 3 families in San Diego, CA

I am a college student pursing a Bachelors of Science and Applied Arts in Child Development at San Diego State University. I have known I have wanted to be an educator since I was a young child therefore in middle school at age 11 I started babysitting my neighbors young kids aged 7, 5, and 3. I babysat them occasionally for about 4 years until I was a sophomore in high school. That year I started working with my drama teacher to help elementary and middle school students find a passion for theater arts and was a day camp counselor at the drama departments summer camp. There I worked with students aged 5-11 for 2 weeks summer of 2022 and 2023. I also worked with 1st grade aged students at my local church from 2[removed] where I lead the students to and from worship and lead them through worship. I have a real passion for working with children and find it as my way to help and support my community. I have always felt drawn to this type of work and feel as though my patience and problem solving skills have really enhanced the way I treat children I work with.

Evelyn was wonderful. patient, and kind.

alejandra $20 per hour for 1 child

Hi families! My name is Alejandra, and I’m a loving and energetic mom of a 7‑year‑old boy with more than 10 years of experience caring for children of all ages. My favorite way to teach, connect, and support kids is through play, creativity, and sports. I truly believe children learn best when they feel safe, engaged, and having fun. I’m originally from Colombia and now living in San Diego. I’m bilingual (English–Spanish), patient, responsible, and very active. I enjoy organizing games, outdoor activities, reading time, and hands‑on learning moments. I also love cooking, and I’m happy to prepare meals or snacks. I can help with light cleaning, homework, and daily routines.

I started working with children when I was 15 as a gymnastics coach for preschool. After that I continued to work with kids, including being a live in nanny, a behavior technician for children on the spectrum and babysitting for different families. I have worked with ages from newborn to middle school. I am very punctual and trustworthy and get along with kids great.

Very professional. This was a small job, but she was committed and had great communication.

Malka, is an absolute gem! She recently watched my nieces who are 4 and 6 years old. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. She was warm, engaging, and took incredible care of them from start to finish. "We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
