Sunitasayra Tiburon
$30 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 1 family in San Francisco, CA

Hi! My name is Sunita. I bring years of experience working with children in both school and home settings. I’ve worked as a care assistant at Bright Horizons and other early childhood centers, and I love helping children learn, grow, and have fun. I’m also a mother to an adult son and understand how important it is to have someone kind, responsible, and patient looking after your kids. I’ve lived in different countries and bring a warm, multicultural perspective to my care. In addition to childcare, I enjoy cooking — especially homemade Indian dishes like chicken curry, coconut curry, biryani, and a variety of vegetarian meals. With the school break coming up, I’d be happy to help take your kids on fun outings — whether it's to the park, the movies, or other local activities. I’m reliable, caring, and always ready to help where I’m needed. I look forward to meeting your family!

Kailey South San Francisco
$25 per hour for 1 child

Hi! I’m Kailey, I’ve always loved being around kids and helping families. I’m a reliable, patient, and attentive caregiver with hands-on experience caring for young children, including providing consistent care for a two-year-old for a family over an extended period of time. Through that experience, I became comfortable managing toddler routines such as meal prep, playtime, naps, diaper changes, and maintaining a safe and structured environment. I’ve grown up around children my whole life and naturally connect well with them. I genuinely enjoy being part of their learning and development — whether that’s encouraging creativity through play, reading together, helping with early learning skills, or simply being a calm and steady presence they can feel comfortable around. I understand how important trust is when inviting someone into your home and around your child. I prioritize safety, clear communication, and consistency, and I aim to support parents by making their day easier while ensuring their child feels secure and cared for. I’m dependable, organized, and attentive to individual needs, and I take pride in being someone families can rely on.

Chiamaka 2 reviews
Alameda
$30 per hour for 1 child

I'm a warm and caring individual with experience looking after kids and seniors. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Physics and a Diploma in Montessori. I'm First Aid (Pediatric First Aid CPR AED) qualified, patient, and bubbly. I love creating fun, safe environments and handling household tasks like meal prep and tidying. I'm trustworthy, responsible, and happy to make families feel at home. I enjoy building connections with the little ones, reading stories, playing games, and encouraging their curious minds. For older ones, I love chats, helping with hobbies, or just being a comforting presence. I'm flexible with hours, and I'm looking forward to caring for your family. Thank you!

Chiamaka was once a care giver for my younger kids. She is diligent and passionate with her job. Chiamaka’s job description was less of her duties due to her unwavering care over the kids place under her care. She goes out of way teaching them by engaging them with activities to calm the kids down. My son was mostly fond of her after school care due to her professional impact on him. I would recommend her for family support, child or adult care. She is capable.

Barbara was our nanny for two years and she was such a gift to our family! She’s absolutely wonderful - extremely responsible, punctual, easy to communicate with, collaborative and very experienced, especially with infants. She was so instrumental in his first year, helping with sleep schedules, weaning, and feeding. She is very easy to work with - she can offer so much great advice and is also very open to your personal preferences. Every day with her was so enriching for my son! She was so engaged with him, always reading, singing or doing an activity. They would frequently go to the park, library, or the farmer’s market. I love that she spoke both English and Spanish with him too - his language skills have really exploded! Above all else, she’s got such a great positive attitude. It’s a joy to be around her and I really felt that she loved and cared for my son.

"We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
