Hi! My name is Emily I am a student wanting full time work. I have almost 9 years experience of nannying from the ages of 3mo-12 years old. I have been a babysitter since I was 14 and have been a nanny for 8 years (almost 9 now) including being a live in nanny for 3 kids in New York. I'm CPR and first aid certified. I am always on time, responsible, friendly, patient, honest, reliable, and love kids. I am not lifeguard certified but I am an extremely strong swimmer (for those with pools) I was on the swim and water polo team. I love animals as I have a large dog and two cats of my own and have had cats my whole life previously. I am comfortable with pets any type or size and have experience caring for them as well. pets are not a problem at all! I do not have a drivers license or car but I am willing to walk to any close by parks or places and I have strong navigational skills. I am a positive person and can solve any situation with a positive attitude. I am a very fast learner and am always willing to learn new things. I believe in positive reinforcement and patience with children and am always happy to communicate and understand them when they are feeling bigger feelings :)

Emily was wonderful, and I would definitely recommend her

Hello! My name is Georgina but you can call me Gina! I am currently a grad student at USF and I have been babysitting for more than 10 years. I took care of my younger siblings all through from when they were born to middle school. In addition to this, I have babysat for many kids during playdates, I have taken care of babies/ toddlers, and I have experience with kids with disabilities. After college I spent my summer working in house for a family with kids aged 3 and 1 1/2. During this time I helped wake the kids up, make meals, create and prepare activities for playtime, and cleaned around the house. Every time I babysit, I like to make sure kids have something to eat, I like to help with their homework and/or any other activities. I am very enthusiastic, responsible, and dependable! I know Spanish in addition to English and I dance ballet! Please don't hesitate to contact me at any given time!

Georgina was great with our 9 month old! Very communicative and friendly. We would love to have her back to sit another time

Booked by 45 families in San Francisco, CA

Hi! My name is Chelsea and I live in the Castro. I studied Psychology at San Francisco State and have always had a special interest in child development. I am the eldest of six and have extensive experience working with children of all ages. Before I moved to the Bay Area, I worked as a household manager/nanny for entrepreneurs, an overnight nanny for a nurse, and as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) working with children with behavioral difficulties and developmental disabilities providing ABA therapy. In addition, I’ve worked intermittently as a sitter over the last 13 years, as a classroom aide (K-3), a summer camp counselor for middle school age children, a private reading tutor, and a dog walker. I have also held numerous part-time nanny positions throughout the city as well as been a full-time nanny for a family while living in their downstairs unit. Since moving to the Bay Area in 2019 I have had the pleasure of working with a number of different families. Some of my duties have included school and activity pick-ups/drop-offs, preparing healthy meals, bathing, running errands, cleaning, homework support, and providing a hug and comfort when needed. My favorite part about working with kids is helping them reach their potential. I am big on promoting learning at every opportunity through music, art, and exploring the world around us. Celebrating success is one of my favorite parts of my work. I love promoting and reinforcing hard work, while also being supportive during times of struggle. I specifically enjoy creating learning games to build academic skills while being engaging and exciting. I spend a significant amount of my free time learning about best practices in promoting healthy eating, emotional development, and self esteem in kids. I do not consider myself to be a pushover, but at the same time I am not harsh or mean. When I worked as an RBT, my supervisors described me as being very patient and consistent. A bit about me: I have lived in SF, Larkspur, and Petaluma, and love what both the city and Marin have to offer. On weekends I enjoy spending my time hiking all over Marin, or taking my German Shepherd to the beach to play catch with a frisbee. When I’m not outside, I enjoy learning new songs to sing to on the piano and ukulele and reading books on personal development.

I have 4+ years experience working with kids. Both babysitting, tutoring, and working in a daycare as well. I love kids of all ages and have taken care of newborns through middle school age kids. I am energetic and responsible, I love planning art activities, taking the kids on a walk to a park, going to the beach or a museum (with parent approval) or a night at home playing games and watching movies/reading books! I have experience helping children finish their homework so I have no problem making sure study time happens as well. :) I am also CPR certified.

Please call me Annie as all my friends do! I have cared for a number of SF families during my 10 years living here. During this decade my childcare work has ranged from infants 2 months old to children 5 years old. I adore seeing the city through their eyes and enjoy our museum trips, library excursions, and park adventures! I am well versed in handling children on Muni, and I am comfortable driving your car in the city. I am proficient in Mandarin and willing to tutor or speak with your child in this language. Before moving to SF I had 8 years of experience working with infants and children, particularly in daycare and tutoring environments. I have babysat since I was first “allowed” at 12 years old, but as an older sister I like to think my experience predates the age of 12. I also professionally care for dogs (and personally my cat) so I'm more than happy to look after your furry friends.

Anne did a wonderful job at taking care of our infant. We would certainly hire her again. Thank you!

"We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
