Hi! My name is Maya and I’ve been working with babies, kids, seniors and teens with intellectual disabilities since I was 16 years old. I have experience babysitting newborns, nannying toddlers and children, volunteering at convalescent homes and being a teachers assistant to special needs high school classes. Some fun facts about me: I love roller skating, arts and crafts, swimming, hiking and reading - I even spent many years in charge of pajama story time for kids at my local bookstore. I have lots of energy and love being around kids of all ages. I’m very comfortable running errands, doing pick ups/drop offs and cleaning/organizing.
