*** Pease note that currently my availability is limited to only weekend babysitting care.*** Hello, my name is Clara, I have worked with children for the past 12 years. My childcare experience varies in ages from infant, toddler, preschool, and after-school age in a center-based setting. I also have experience with after-school pick-ups and caring for the child in evening hours until parents return home from work, weekend babysitting, and the occasional date nights for parents. Although I do not have kids of my own, I have gained valuable knowledge and experience. Through my education, hands-on experiences, and most of all the children in my care. I have learned from them what helps them grow and learn. During my time working with young children, I enjoyed building healthy interactions and relationships. A few activates I like to engage in during my time with the children are arts & crafts, storytime, talking nature walks, and sensory activities just to name a few. I speak both English and Spanish. I was born and raised in Californian by two loving parents and I am the youngest of four. Currently, I'm working at a center for infants and young toddlers. In the future, my goal is to become an elementary teacher where I can continue to forester the learning of children. The field of early childhood education is my passion. Caring for young children would be is so much more to me than just a job; it would mean a lifetime of experience for my future endeavors. I would love to make a difference in your little one's life. Thank you. :)

I have about two years of experience caring for families outside and within urban sitter with CPR certification and a clean driving record. I have experience working at a day center and as a teachers assistant with special needs children. I’ve developed strong childcare expertise with managing routines, engaging with children through educational and playful activities. Alongside my work in childcare, I am pursuing a college degree in psych, focusing on child development. However, i am currently taking a gap year. I am also a highly responsible, consistent, nurturing, and supportive individual who takes pride in being apart of children’s lives!

Nat was absolutely amazing, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the moment she arrived, she was warm, professional, and incredibly attentive. She took the time to understand all of our instructions and followed them carefully, which immediately gave us peace of mind. She was also wonderful with our dog, Brody. Nat was so patient, gentle, and caring with him that he quickly became comfortable in her presence. Most importantly, she was fantastic with our son. Toddlers can definitely have their moments, and our son had a few emotional outbursts while we were away. Nat handled each one with incredible patience, kindness, and compassion. She never seemed flustered and approached every situation with a calm, nurturing attitude that made us feel completely confident he was in great hands. It’s not easy finding someone who is both dependable and genuinely caring, but Nat exceeded all of our expectations. We truly appreciated her attentiveness, communication, and the level of care she provided to our entire family. We will absolutely be using Nat again in the future and are looking forward to having her back. We highly recommend her to any family looking for someone who is trustworthy, patient, compassionate, and exceptional with children and pets.

Loving and Calm Childcare Provider | Experienced Nanny & Mom Hi, my name is Nceba. I was born and raised in South Africa and have been a full-time childcare provider in the Bay Area since 2019. I’m also a proud wife and mom to a sweet toddler, which has given me a whole new level of hands-on experience and insight into child development. I trained at the Au Pair Training School in New York through the Cultural Care Agency, where I learned the needs of children at different stages. With nearly a decade of childcare experience, I specialize in infants and toddlers ages 6–24 months, and now as a mom myself, I bring first-hand knowledge of newborn and toddler care. Experience Highlights: Former live-in au pair to two children (ages 5 & 7) Full-time nanny to multiple Bay Area families for 6+ years Older sister to five siblings, giving me years of natural childcare experience Mom to a toddler, with real-world experience in newborn through toddler milestones What I Offer: I love creating safe, loving, and engaging environments for children—reading books, singing songs, sensory play, baby/toddler massages, outdoor walks, and early learning activities. With older children, I’ve also helped with: School routines, drop-off/pick-up Homework and creative projects Playdates and outdoor fun Meal prep, children’s laundry, and bedtime routines Doctor and dentist appointments About Me: Families describe me as calm, patient, and dependable. Outside of childcare, I enjoy art and museums. I am multilingual, speaking English fluently as well as Zulu, Xhosa, and Afrikaans. Looking Ahead: My long-term goal is to become a Postpartum Doula, offering compassionate support to both mothers and babies during the early stages of life.

Nonceba is awesome! My kids loved her and the baby. I think they have a new favorite sitter now. Thanks for the help, and the kids can't wait until you come back again!

"We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
