Brianna $30 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 1 family in San Quentin, CA

Hi, my name is Brianna. I am 32 y/o. I’m a novato native, currently residing in San Rafael. I’m currently looking to help a family or two with childcare for any age. I’ve worked with kids in some fashion my entire life. I have younger siblings (24 & 6), and many nieces and nephews from close friends. I’ve worked with children since I was 12 y/o. Im comfortable with all ages of children, newborns - 13yrs+. I’m familiar with the growth stages for each respective age group and the tailored needs each child requires. Ive volunteered on our youth team at church for several years, including both teaching small groups and in larger settings - church conferences, etc. I spent a year directing a summer camp program for a tennis club, including a full curriculum of arts & crafts activities, walkable field trips, food schedules, physical activities. I’m well educated in food allergies and sensitivities. Additionally, I’m personally familiar with food sensitivities. I am generally very active. I am NOT a tennis player, however I know the basics. I grew up playing basketball for many years, along with cheerleading and softball. I’m a confident swimmer, and enjoy most outdoor activities. I am not currently CPR certified, but am willing to renew my certification, and have been certified in infant, adolescent, and adult CPR. - Directly after high school, I attended school in Las Vegas for medical assisting - learning the basics of first aid and medical training. Knowledge of which I’m looking to further apply in my studies of nutrition. his summer, I will started my pre-reqs for my nutrition degree, paired with obtaining a certification as a pilates instructor. I’m able to help with household needs; light cleaning, food prep/ cooking, taking children to school or afterschool activities. I love all pets - I grew up with pets in the house hold, and am happy to help with walking dogs, taking them to the dog park, and replenishing their food/ water (for all pets). I hope this helps you get to know me a bit better. I’m looking forward to meeting you and your family!

Andie $33 per hour for 1 child

Hello! My name is Andie, and I am an experienced and passionate childcare worker born and raised in Marin! A little about me- I love learning about naturalism, health/nutrition, and social justice issues. Some of my favorite activities to do in my free time include hiking, photography, and art! As for my experience, I have worked in professional childcare settings (as well as pet care), including volunteering at a local preschool, babysitting, working with child theater camps, and most notably; working over 4 years at an afterschool program (children ages 4-10). Some of my responsibilities at this job involved supervising 50+ children at a time, preparing food, leading games/art activities, planning daily schedules, and most importantly- fostering an uplifting, empowering, and safe environment for all children involved! I absolutely love getting to see each child express their individual light. I have learned as much from them as they have from me, and that’s why I am so passionate about what I do. I am CPR and AED certified and have taken many safety/behavioral trainings, such as the CalSAC ‘Understanding the Behavior of Youth Training’ and The Redwoods ‘Child Sexual Abuse’ Training. I am also currently enrolled in Early Childhood Education classes at COM. I drive, as well as offer household services such as cleaning/organizing, food prep, running errands, and pet care. I am looking for a full-time or part-time longterm position with a family. Happy to provide references upon request.

"We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
