Hi, my name is Joyce, and I'm a dog mom and cat mom. I'm also a daughter of an aging parent, sister, and aunt. I provide babysitting (including for infants and toddlers), nanny, mother's helper, household assistant, senior care, pet care, house sitting, and household services. I've taken care of my niece and nephew from when they were born and throughout their childhoods. I also have experience with infants, toddlers, as well as middle school and high school. I grew up in the same area as my grandparents, and also worked at the senior center in my hometown growing up, so I'm very used to being around seniors. I can cook, drive to appointments, or do other tasks. (I also love board games and hearing people's stories!) I've been in sales and customer-facing roles most of my life, and I love to make people feel at home and comfortable. I'm an empath, so very attuned to people's emotions. I also love conversation and talking about a wide range of topics. As it relates to pet care: I have a cat and a dog currently, and have also had fish, leopard geckos, and hermit crabs as pets, and volunteered in a Biology Lab with many animals, both mammals and reptiles. As it relates to house sitting: I'm experienced in house sitting, including watching pets while house sitting. I can water your plants, take out the trash weekly, and make sure anything else you need is taken care of. If you'd like help cleaning while you're away, I can do that as well. As it relates to household services: I'm experienced in coordinating repairs and vendors, cleaning, cooking, grocery shopping, organization, cleaning, managing vendors, and planning. I can also do personal assistant projects as well.

Andie $33 per hour for 1 child

Hello, my name is Andie! I am an experienced and passionate childcare worker born and raised in Marin! A little about me- I love learning about naturalism, health/nutrition, and social justice issues. Some of my favorite activities to do in my free time include hiking, photography, and art! As for my experience, I have worked in professional childcare settings (as well as pet care), including volunteering at a local preschool, babysitting, working with child theater camps, and most notably; working over 4 years at an afterschool program (children ages 4-10). Some of my responsibilities at this job involved supervising 50+ children at a time, preparing food, leading games/art activities, planning daily schedules, and most importantly- fostering an uplifting, empowering, and safe environment for all children involved! I absolutely love getting to see each child express their individual light. I have learned so much from them, and that’s why I am so passionate about what I do. I am CPR and AED certified and have taken many safety/behavioral trainings, such as the CalSAC ‘Understanding the Behavior of Youth Training’ and The Redwoods ‘Child Sexual Abuse Prevention’ Training. I am also currently working on receiving my Early Childhood Education credits at COM. I drive, as well as offer household services such as cleaning/organizing, food prep, running errands, and pet care. I am looking for a full-time or part-time longterm position with a family. I have great references that I’m happy to provide upon request.

$35 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 12 families in Forest Knolls, CA

I’m 26 years old and I’ve been working with children since I was 15 in my home country, and for 2.5 years here in the Bay Area. I always loved being around kids and I have experience with all ages, from infants to teenagers. I can cook, clean and I’m a strong driver. I’m also caring, affectionate, energetic, fast learner, really responsible, trustworthy, pet friendly, CPR and first aid certified. I currently work part time for a family, so I’m open to part-time positions (especially in the mornings). Besides my experience with kids, I also have a college degree, and experience with managing, so I’d be happy to help as a personal assistant/organizer or mother’s helper as well. Please let me know if you have any questions, I’ll be happy to answer and to help your family.

Nathalia jumped in on short notice and was on top of the details of getting my daughter and bringing her to an appointment and then home. We hope to see her again.

"We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
