A little about me- I love learning about naturalism, health/nutrition, and social justice issues. Some of my favorite activities to do in my free time include hiking, photography, and art! As for my experience, I have worked in professional childcare settings (as well as pet care), including volunteering at a local preschool, babysitting, working with child theater camps, and most notably; working over 4 years at an afterschool program (children ages 4-10). Some of my responsibilities at this job involved supervising 50+ children at a time, preparing food, leading games/art activities, planning daily schedules, and most importantly- fostering an uplifting, empowering, and safe environment for all children involved! Hello! My name is Kam! I’m a 23 year old Marin County Native. All my life I’ve loved to provide care. I babysat from ages 16 to 22, and went on a hiatus to live on the East Coast and pursue my event planning career. But don’t fret, the care services didn’t stop during this hiatus, I became a foster mom and was a constant revolving door for puppy litters. Caring for up to 5 puppies for 2-4 weeks at a time. I’m now back in California working remotely as an event manager with very flexible hours. I genuinely love little ones so I’m hoping to make some additional income to return to school and earn an additional degree.
