Hello everyone! My name is Andrea, and I recently graduated from the University of Utah with a degree in Bioinformatics and a minor in Human Development.I’m open to opportunities throughout the Bay Area, including live-in positions, date-night gigs, full-time roles, or multiple part-time positions. I have over seven years of experience working with families as a babysitter, nanny, tutor, and household manager. My experience ranges from occasional/date-night care to long-term family support. I am Red Cross certified in Babysitting, CPR, and First Aid, and I am currently completing my CNA certification. Over the past year, I have also completed Newborn Care Specialist coursework and am actively working toward certification hours. I have experience caring for children from 6 weeks to 11 years old, as well as tutoring students ages 5–17 across K–12 subjects. I also speak conversational Spanish and would be happy to incorporate language learning into daily activities with your children. My approach to childcare is calm, attentive, and highly engaged. I value gentle parenting principles and draw inspiration from Montessori and RIE philosophies. In addition to childcare, I’m very comfortable assisting with household management tasks, anticipating parents’ needs, maintaining routines, and helping keep the home running smoothly. I also absolutely love pets and am very comfortable around animals. I have a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and am comfortable traveling as needed. I also understand the importance of professionalism, discretion, and respecting families’ privacy, and I have previous experience working with high-profile families under confidentiality agreements. Excellent references are available upon request. I truly enjoy building long-term relationships with families and creating a warm, supportive environment where children feel safe, encouraged, and cared for. I’d love to connect and see if I might be a good fit for your family!

Hello dear families! I'm Gloria, I’m 36 and I love kids. I have a great experience working with children because I worked as nanny and babysitter in my country and also here in the a United States too. Let me create a beautiful relationship with your treasures!

Gloria was wonderful! She stepped right in with my 22 month and 3 month old babies right after we returned from a trip. The kids were immediately at ease and happy. We hope to have Gloria return!

Hey, my name is Elia and I’m offering child care services. My current job consists of being a waiter but I want to look for something else, I used to work for a company from the san mateo county caring for adults for about 2 years. The company’s name is IHSS. Since I used to care for kids when I was younger ( taking them to school, babysitting) and raised some of my own this seems like a great opportunity for me. I’m bilingual as I speak both Spanish and English and I would be more than happy to teach your children Spanish when caring for them. I’m a mother of two. Two boys, one 17 and the other one is 7 and I would say i have a pretty good experience with kids. Caring for children is not only something I’m good at but I also enjoy it! I can clean, and run errands when needed. I’m also okay with taking care of pets.

We feel incredibly lucky to have had Elia as part of our family for the past 8 months. From the very beginning, she has been kind, attentive, and deeply engaged with our baby — always playing with her in thoughtful, age-appropriate ways that support her development. With our permission, she has also been teaching our daughter Spanish, and it’s been so exciting to hear her respond to familiar words in both languages. Elia is extremely responsible and always punctual. She’s respectful of our routines and values, and she’s proactive in helping reinforce positive habits around eating, sleeping, and motor skills. When our daughter naps, she kindly offers to help with light housework — without ever needing to be asked — and we so appreciate her initiative and reliability. We’ve also noticed and admired that she’s never distracted or on her phone; her attention is always focused where it matters most. More than anything, Elia truly feels like a part of our family. Our baby absolutely lights up when she sees her. We trust her completely and would wholeheartedly recommend her to any family looking for a nurturing, trustworthy, and experienced caregiver.

"We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
