I am a 29-year-old bilingual (English & Spanish) with over nine years of experience in childcare and psychology—four years in the U.S. and more than five years abroad. I hold a degree in Psychology from Colombia, where I worked in the ICU department providing emotional support and specialized care, especially with infants and their families. Caring for children has always been one of my greatest passions. I have worked as both a nanny and an au pair, gaining extensive hands-on experience with infants and toddlers. Families often describe me as loving, patient, and reliable, with a natural ability to create a safe, nurturing, and joyful environment for kids. • 💕 Dedicated caregiver for infants & toddlers • 💕 Strong background in psychology & child development • 💕 Licensed driver • 💕 Bilingual: English & Spanish

We have been fortunate to have Leydi as our evening nanny since February 2024- who took care of our two kids(who is now 10 and 2.5yrs)and she has truly become part of our family. She is now looking for a full-time role in the mornings while continuing to be with us in the evenings — we are so glad she will remain part of our routine. I highly recommend her to any family looking for someone dependable and loving. Things that we love about Leydi and what she can bring to the new family. Some of the qualities we value most about her: 1. Reliability: Always on time and consistent, which gives us complete peace of mind. 2. Warmth & Patience: Our children adore her, and she connects with them in such a genuine way. 3. Engagement across ages: She understands and supports both our 10-year-old and 2-year-old socially and emotionally, meeting them where they are and tuning in to their behaviors and needs. 4. Creativity &amp Calm: Keeps evenings fun yet smooth, whether it’s play, stories, or winding down for bedtime. 5. Professionalism: Follows our instructions carefully and respects family routines. She understands what we believe practice as family and leverages the same principle. 6. Flexibility: Easy to communicate with and always willing to adapt to our needs. Any family would be lucky to have her.

Hi! I'm a college student with several years of experience working with children of all ages. This summer, I worked as a site assistant and a teacher with Destination Science, where I led fun, hands-on STEM activities while ensuring every child felt safe, included, and engaged. I've also worked as a babysitter and day camp counselor at the MJCC, supervising children, organizing games and crafts, helping with meals, and creating a positive environment. During high school, I taught at a dance clinic, which strengthened my leadership, communication, and patience while working with young children. I'm responsible, dependable, and energetic, and I genuinely enjoy helping kids learn, grow, and have fun. Whether it's keeping children entertained, assisting with homework, preparing simple meals, or helping with bedtime routines, I'm committed to providing families with reliable and attentive care.

Hi, my name is Laura, I’m 34 years old and originally from Germany. I recently moved to the Bay Area together with my husband. I speak German, English, and a little Spanish. I’ve always enjoyed caring for children - I’ve looked after my sister’s little one, my two godchildren (twins), and other kids from family and friends. I also have experience teaching both individual and group tutoring sessions, so I’m comfortable managing several kids at once and happy to help with homework and studying. Families know me as warm, kind, and dependable. I love spending time with kids - whether it’s playing, reading, helping them learn, or coming up with fun activities. I’m also glad to help with errands, cooking, meal-prep or house-sitting, so you can feel completely at ease when I’m around. I’d love to support your family and make things a little easier for you!

Laura is wonderful. She was on time and super great with our six month old. Our baby seemed comfortable with her right away. She played with her, got her to sleep, fed her, and took her on a nice long walk. I’m so glad we found Laura!

$30 per hour for 1 child

During the last 3 years I have had jobs related to child and pet care. I was working at petsmart and in two home day care, I am creative and careful and friendly, I have learned during my experience to pay attention to details and solve them in an optimal way. I think it is very important that children have good care for this reason I am starting classes at Mission College in relation to the care and behavior of the child

We would love to recommend her for the wonderful care she provided to our 1 year and 4 month old daughter. From the very beginning, she built a very special bond with her; our daughter always felt calm, safe, and happy in her presence. She supported us during an important stage, introducing solid foods, always with patience, care, and by following our instructions closely. She was also very responsible when it came to managing allergies, which was extremely important to us, and she consistently gave us peace of mind in that area. She helped establish sleep routines that significantly improved our baby’s rest. In addition, she encouraged her development through the use of Spanish commands, daily reading, and engaging activities that supported her learning in a loving way. She also promoted outdoor activities, which helped our daughter stay active and supported her motor development. Additionally, she assisted with meal preparation, always carefully following our guidance. She is a very responsible, dedicated, and detail-oriented person. We are truly grateful for all the care, support, and love she gave to our daughter.

"We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
