I have about a year of experience babysitting for a previous family, where I helped with daily routines, homework, and keeping the kids engaged in fun activities. In addition, I have three years of experience working with both kids and adults on the spectrum, which has given me a lot of patience, understanding, and the ability to adapt to different needs and personalities. I’m currently in school to become a pharmacy technician, so responsibility and attention to detail are very important to me. I’m also comfortable cooking simple, healthy meals and can provide safe transportation for kids if needed. I’ve worked with high needs special needs children up close in home and school environments. I have a severely disabled brother who I helped take care of until I moved out at 19. I have worked in a hospital with individuals who are high risk and need constant supervision in 12 hour shifts(from behavioral patients and seniors to children). I absolutely adore children and have so much fun teaching them and learning from them myself. My schedule is flexible as I work at a restaurant and can schedule time off with 1 weeks notice. My mornings and early afternoons are my most reliably available times, though I can do nights with prior notice. I am interested in getting to know how your family does things and providing the care you need. I am a student in community college studying linguistics.
