$33 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 3 families in South San Francisco, CA

Taking care of children and supporting their growth has always been something I feel deeply passionate about. With six years of experience, I've cared for kids from newborns to 10 years old, and I truly enjoy creating a positive, loving space where they can feel safe, learn, and thrive. I hold a degree in education and feel confident caring for up to two children at a time. I love introducing fun, educational games that encourage learning through play and support each child's unique growth. I communicate clearly with parents - whether it's at pickup, by text, or through whatever method they prefer - and I always aim to be reliable and easy to work with. I'm CPR and First Aid certified, have my own car, and am very comfortable with pets. My goal is to provide a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment where your child feels happy, supported, and cared for.

Alana was our daughter’s caregiver for just about one year. She was a light in our daughter’s life! Alana took care of our daughter and a friend’s in a nanny share which we hosted in our homes. She took care of the girls when they were just under 1 to about the age of 2. Alana has great experience with infants, toddlers, and made sure the girls were safe, happy, and healthy. Alana is very punctual and communicative always sending us photos and updates on the girls throughout the day. She helped us to transition the girls to cow milk as well as transition from 2 naps to 1 nap a day. She was always caring and kind with the girls as well as patient when things would be more challenging. She helped to take the girls on many adventures and keep them safe while doing so. We trusted her to drive the girls to the park, library, beach, etc. Our daughter was very comfortable with Alana and we were very sad to transition to daycare but knew we needed to have the girls be in more social situations for preschool eventually. We would highly recommend Alana to any family looking for a responsible, caring, supportive Nanny!

"We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
