In my senior year, I wanted to supplement my academics with real world experience and have successfully cared for children ages 1 through 10 for the past 2 years through a school environment and private nannying/and babysitting. This experience gave me a deep understanding of the physical and emotional support that seniors often require. I have experience with pet care and house sitting, regularly working with several families to care for their cats and dogs while they are away. I take care of all essential tasks, including feeding, playtime, outdoor walks/dog park time, and cleaning up after the pets to ensure they are happy and well looked after in their owners’ absence. Personally, I’ve had cats for over 16 years and have had 2 snakes, which has made me confident and comfortable around a wide range of animals. I don’t come in just to supervise; I like to really learn each child’s personality, what comforts them, what excites them, and how to support their growth.
