$25 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 56 families in Studio City, CA

Hello! I'm Roni, a recent USC grad with degrees in Theatre and Public Relations. I have a wide experience taking care of children of all ages: newborns, toddlers, kids, and preteens. I worked as a babysitter for 10 years, am a devoted aunt to a 3-year-old and 5-year-old (with whom I lived during the pandemic, so my middle name might as well be "mother's-helper"), and worked as a sleep away camp counselor for three summers. I have contagious enthusiasm and energy, love to nurture a child's innate curiosity and seeing the positive impact I have when allowing a child to explore their passions. The cherry on top is that I served as the president of USC's mixed-form improv troupe! Make-believe games and enjoyable playtime is guaranteed!

Roni was great with our 7-year-old son. He had a fun time with her, and she was very engaging and attentive. We would definitely hire her again.

$25 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 103 families in Studio City, CA

Hello, My name is Busisiwe, but I go by Busi. I am from South Africa and relocated to the United States in 2017 as an Au Pair, where I had the privilege of spending two enriching years with two wonderful host families, with whom I still maintain strong connections. In 2019, I began my studies in Child Development and Behavioral and Social Sciences, graduating in 2022. I have been working with children for 10 years. It all started when I volunteered at daycare and preschool centers during high school in South Africa. I later worked as an Au Pair, then as a nanny during college, and also spent a year as a Preschool Teacher to learn more about early childhood education. In my professional journey, I have gained valuable experience working with children with autism and ADHD. This aspect of my work is particularly close to my heart, and I have developed specialized skills to support and engage these children effectively. Currently, I work primarily with children who have Autism Spectrum Disorder (high-functioning) and ADHD, while taking a break from my degree in Occupational Therapy. This experience has deepened my understanding of the unique needs and strengths of children, enhancing my skills in creating supportive and engaging environments for their development. In my free time, I enjoy reading, singing, socializing with family and friends, hiking, and prioritizing physical fitness through regular workouts. Thank you for considering my profile. I look forward to the opportunity to connect further. Warm regards, Busi ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- SITTER POLICIES: 1. Interview Method - For interviews, I am available via phone, FaceTime, or Zoom only. 3. Cancellation Policy- If you need to cancel a booking within 24 hours or less, 50% of the booking fee will be charged. For cancellations within 12 hours or less, the full fee will be charged. 4. Rates are non-negotiable. Kindly confirm that you have read and agree to these policies. Thank you for your cooperation and trust.

I hired Busi to work with my 3 year old while I was traveling for work. She really came through after another sitter cancelled. My son is non verbal and has ADHD. Busi really understood and connected with him. She was professional and recommended things to me I had totally forgotten in my haste to find a new babysitter - like sharing her location so I knew where they were at all times. I highly recommend Busi and will reach out to her the next time I’m traveling for work.

Hi there! I have over 10 years of experience working with children ranging from infants to middle schoolers, and it’s truly been a joy every step of the way. I recently earned my MFA in Acting, and before that, I spent four years teaching drama classes to kids, helping them grow in confidence, creativity, and communication. Whether I’m caring for a baby or engaging an energetic middle-schooler, I approach every child with patience, warmth, and attentiveness. I’m also passionate about creating a calm, reliable presence in the home, so parents can feel supported and more available for their personal or professional lives. I believe open communication with families is key, and I always aim to be someone you can trust and count on. In my free time, I love cooking and learning new languages and I often find creative ways to bring those interests into the day with little ones.

North Hollywood
$35 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 254 families in Studio City, CA

Hello Parents, my name is Deanna. I am a certified postpartum doula and childcare professional with over 10 years of experience caring for children from infancy through elementary school age. Families trust me because I combine expertise, patience, and a warm, dependable presence. I specialize in newborn and infant care—supporting feeding, sleep routines, and early development—but I also love engaging with toddlers, preschoolers, and school-aged children. Whether it’s creating structured play for little ones, helping with homework, or keeping kids active and entertained, I tailor my approach to meet each child’s needs. What I provide: • Safe, nurturing care for infants with focus on early milestones • Creative and educational play for toddlers and preschoolers • Homework help and after-school support for elementary-age children • Calm, reliable presence that gives parents peace of mind • Household support to ease busy family routines Parents often describe me as professional, patient, and someone their children connect with right away. I understand the trust it takes to invite someone into your home, and I take that responsibility seriously. If you’re looking for a caregiver who can grow with your family—supporting your little one from the baby stage all the way through the school years—I’d love to connect. If your interested in booking me, please read my policy. Once you have scheduled a job with me, I assume you agree to the terms of this agreement. I look forward to meeting your family! Payment Policy: I plan my time and budget according to hours booked, so I require that I am paid for the entire booking regardless of hours actually worked. Booking Policy: If your looking to book me, I have a 4 hour minimum. (except for interviews) Cancellation Policy: Since I am requested by a lot of parents, I need a 24 to 48 hour notice of cancellation so I can book another family. If you do not cancel within that time frame, I request half payment of what would have made during the original booking. If I must cancel because I am either sick or have an emergency. I will make every effort to find you a replacement sitter. Additionally, on the next job, I will babysit an hour for free since I know cancelling can be an inconvenience.

Deanna is amazing and we couldn't recommend her more highly. She has saved the day on more than one occasion, is super friendly, always comes up with fun things to do with the kids, and most importantly, our kids love her. She's also fun to have around the house. Five sparkly stars.

"We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
