Hi there! I have over 10 years of experience working with children ranging from infants to middle schoolers, and it’s truly been a joy every step of the way. I recently earned my MFA in Acting, and before that, I spent four years teaching drama classes to kids, helping them grow in confidence, creativity, and communication. Whether I’m caring for a baby or engaging an energetic middle-schooler, I approach every child with patience, warmth, and attentiveness. I’m also passionate about creating a calm, reliable presence in the home, so parents can feel supported and more available for their personal or professional lives. I believe open communication with families is key, and I always aim to be someone you can trust and count on. In my free time, I love cooking and learning new languages and I often find creative ways to bring those interests into the day with little ones.

I’m a born and raised New Yorker where I was a professional nanny for 8 years, ranging from date night sitting to full time nanny and house manager positions for high profile NDA families. My nanny style is creative and caring with Montessori principles. I’m very hands on and active and am a strong swimmer! have experience working with children ages 5 months-17 years old and am comfortable watching up to 6 kids at a time. Skilled with neurodivergent and special needs (specializes in working with ADHD kiddos) I’m a rockstar at baking and cooking including full family meal prep, intricate birthday cakes and homemade baby food (i have kosher experience). I enjoy planning children’s parties and events and as a dog mom im a certified animal lover. CPR and first aid certified and have experience with food allergies (Epi pen trained). While I do have reliable transportation , I am not comfortable driving children. A fun fact about me is that I’ve worked as a costume maker on broadway, national tour and regional premiere productions of Frozen: the musical and love Disney! *I also teach private and group sewing lessons all skill levels, arts and crafts activities and parties*

I'm a LA native that has worked with children since I was 14. I'm also a professional dancer but nothing fulfills me like working with kids! I love to incorporate art and expression, but have no problem with laying down rules and running errands. I grew up in a big family and have been with children of all ages since day 1! I have a flexible schedule and competitive rates.

Flannery was the best. So kind and caring with our six month old, on time, flexible, and rolled with the punches when it turned out he had a cold. A calming presence! We're so grateful for her help.

Hi, I’m Mara. I’m 27 with over 10 years of paid childcare experience, working with children from newborn through teenage years. I’ve supported families in long-term, short-term, and overnight roles, and I’m confident handling everything from daily routines to more involved care needs. I also have experience working with children on the autism spectrum, ADHD, and other developmental needs, and I approach each child with patience, awareness, and adaptability. My personality is calm, grounded, and attentive. I naturally create a peaceful, structured environment where children feel safe, understood, and comfortable. I’m very intentional about how I show up present, observant, and responsive without being overwhelming. I have strong experience with infant and toddler care, school routines, transportation to activities, homework support, and meal prep. In many of my long-term roles, I’ve also supported the home during school hours or summer camp schedules, keeping things clean, organized, and running smoothly so families can come home to a well-maintained space. I’m comfortable with both childcare-related tasks and overall household upkeep. I value structure, communication, and mutual respect, and I do best with families who are looking for someone dependable, calm, and proactive. Someone they can trust to handle both childcare and household support without needing constant direction. I’m dependable, consistent, and respectful of each family’s routines and preferences. Families I’ve worked with value that they can trust me to step in seamlessly, stay calm in any situation, and handle responsibilities with care. I take what I do seriously and genuinely care about creating a positive, safe experience for both the child and the family.

Hello, My name is Busisiwe, but I go by Busi. I am from South Africa and relocated to the United States in 2017 as an Au Pair, where I had the privilege of spending two enriching years with two wonderful host families, with whom I still maintain strong connections. In 2019, I began my studies in Child Development and Behavioral and Social Sciences, graduating in 2022. I have been working with children for 10 years. It all started when I volunteered at daycare and preschool centers during high school in South Africa. I later worked as an Au Pair, then as a nanny during college, and also spent a year as a Preschool Teacher to learn more about early childhood education. In my professional journey, I have gained valuable experience working with children with autism and ADHD. This aspect of my work is particularly close to my heart, and I have developed specialized skills to support and engage these children effectively. Currently, I work primarily with children who have Autism Spectrum Disorder (high-functioning) and ADHD, while taking a break from my degree in Occupational Therapy. This experience has deepened my understanding of the unique needs and strengths of children, enhancing my skills in creating supportive and engaging environments for their development. In my free time, I enjoy reading, singing, socializing with family and friends, hiking, and prioritizing physical fitness through regular workouts. Thank you for considering my profile. I look forward to the opportunity to connect further. Warm regards, Busi ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- SITTER POLICIES: 1. Illness Policy- Due to the ongoing viruses, I would kindly ask to please inform me in advance if someone is not feeling well. 2. Interview Method - For interviews, I am available via phone, FaceTime, or Zoom only. 3. Cancellation Policy- If you need to cancel a booking within 24 hours or less, 50% of the booking fee will be charged. For cancellations within 12 hours or less, the full fee will be charged. 4. Rates are non-negotiable. Kindly confirm that you have read and agree to these policies. Thank you for your cooperation and trust.

I hired Busi to work with my 3 year old while I was traveling for work. She really came through after another sitter cancelled. My son is non verbal and has ADHD. Busi really understood and connected with him. She was professional and recommended things to me I had totally forgotten in my haste to find a new babysitter - like sharing her location so I knew where they were at all times. I highly recommend Busi and will reach out to her the next time I’m traveling for work.

"We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
