Desert Hot Springs
$30 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 31 families in White Water, CA

Hey! My name is Naomi and I have my Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, with my AA in Early Childhood Education. With that being said, I have been working with children for a little over a decade now and I love every minute of it! I currently work full-time in a private learning center where I work as a Lead Teacher in the infant classroom. I’ve worked with infants, toddlers, pre-school, school-age, middle & high schoolers! I am CPR & First-Aid certified, have my reliable transportation & I love working with kids!! I have younger siblings so I use them as my guinea pigs for creative fun activities for us to do. Well I’ve said too much, thank you all for taking the time to read this. As far as pricing goes, I can be very reasonable and fair, as long as we communicate and work something out! I do have a standard rate of charging an extra +$3-5 when it involves an infant-toddler as this is my specialty. Of course, my pricing also depends on the occasion, day, holiday, every factor counts! Let me know if you have any questions, I’m here to help you out ! I should also mention this- my policy is, whether the sitting ends before the original designated time you had requested for me, I would still expect the pay for the time you scheduled. My rates are hourly & begin hourly (if it’s less than 3 hours), so for example if the time is less than 1 hour, I would still be paid for 1 full hour. If it’s less than 3, I would be paid for the full 3 hours. Due to the fact that my day is already planned around the time of the sitting so it is only fair, I get paid for my time, which includes mileage. Thank you in advance!

Booked by 2 families in White Water, CA

Hi, I’m Isabella! I’m a 19-year-old nanny and babysitter with 3 years of experience and a big heart for working with kids. My goal is to be the person your kids can't wait to see whether we are running around outside playing sports, getting creative with baking in the kitchen, or tackling homework together to make learning feel like a win. What sets me apart is my background as a Certified Medical Assistant And Cpr/First aid certified. I love keeping things light-hearted and fun, but I’m also trained to handle health and safety with professional-level care. I’m here to provide a happy, high-energy environment for your little ones and total peace of mind for you!

Isabella did a great job taking care of my 2 boys. My three year old really enjoyed playing with her. Once they were both asleep she picked up the toys and kids stuff. I highly recommend her!

Rialto
$18 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 14 families in White Water, CA

My name is Desiree and I am a working professional looking to earn on the side while having fun babysitting! I graduated from the University of San Francisco in 2016, and moved down to Southern California to be with my family a couple years ago. I currently work at a cancer research hospital and am looking to babysit in the evenings or weekends before or after my regular 9-5. I've grown up babysitting the children of close friends and family for years. In addition, I have also tutored at St. Charles Elementary for 3 years, as well as taught as the first grade summer school teacher. I enjoy being silly, creative, and letting my inner-child out when I am babysitting. (While also being responsible, of course.) Through my experience working at a school and babysitting, I have learned a lot about the world of childcare. I look forward to meeting and/or working with your families!

Desiree was great! She showed up on time and was ready to get my kids engaged in play. I was at home while she was there, and the fact that the kids were completely engrossed and didn't need me there at all means that her company must have been stellar. They talked about having her over again for quite a while after and I'd definitely book her again.

"We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
