Nancy 2 reviews
$25 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 1 family in Littleton, CO

I raised 4 daughters while I was an emergency room nurse. The best part of my life was watching my daughters grow .Now I am waiting for grandchildren but my daughters are too busy living their lives. So now I love to nanny babies, toddlers and children of all ages. Life is such an adventure!

Nancy was such a help for us and a delight for my daughter, who immediately asked for her to come again. She even cleaned up after our dog, who got sick in the house. She was prompt, responsive and warm. Absolutely will book again.

I have a decade of experience in roles that blend nanny, family assistant, household manager, personal assistant, and dog mom. I excel at creating order. I organize intuitively and create systems that guarantee order and ease. I’m soft-spoken, direct. I see what needs doing and handle it. My childcare approach is developmentally informed and grounded in safety and attunement. I’ve worked with all ages and am well-versed in neurodivergence (Autism, ADHD, etc). I'm also experienced with dogs, cats, rabbits, horses, and more. Animals and developmental psychology are my biggest passions and I am continually learning more about them. I believe the right person in a household can restore flow to a family's lifestyle. Children thrive in uncluttered, interactive settings. Adults can exhale when their mental load disappears. Streamlining a home is multi-tiered work but when done correctly, the effect is felt everywhere.

Laira 1 review
$25 per hour for 1 child

Nursing background | CPR & First Aid certified | 5+ years experience Hi! My name is Laira, and I am a caring, reliable, and patient caregiver with 5 years of experience working with children in the U. S. and Brazil. I have a nursing background and CPR/First Aid training, so safety is always my top priority. I have experience with infants, toddlers, and school-aged children, and I enjoy creating fun and educational activities such as outdoor play, crafts, reading, and learning games. I am organized, calm, and responsible, and I always respect household rules and family routines. Communication is very important to me, and I like to keep parents updated about their child's day. I am bilingual (English and Portuguese), comfortable with pets, and can help with light cleaning, meal prep, and errands. I am looking for a kind family and a long-term opportunity.

I highly recommend Laira as a babysitter. She worked for me and was absolutely wonderful in every way. Laira is incredibly reliable, always punctual, and someone I could fully trust with my child. She has a natural ability with children, kind, patient, and attentive. My child felt comfortable and happy around her, which gave me great peace of mind. Laira is also very responsible and professional; she follows instructions carefully while also using her own good judgment when needed. Beyond basic care, she truly engages with children in a positive and nurturing way, creating a safe and loving environment. I would confidently recommend her to any family looking for a caring and dependable babysitter.

Blair 1 review
$22 per hour for 1 child

I’ve been a sitter/nanny for over 8 years in the front range. I am flexible, dependable, and an engaging babysitter. I love to be creative and silly with the kids. I try to make fun games and arts projects. I follow the Montessori method and allow kids to chose their own adventure while I create a safe environment to do so. I am open to helping with other jobs around the house and am comfortable with pets. Work History: - Toddler Montessori teaching - Date-Night, House & Dog Sitting - Home Health Care Aide - Children's Ski Instructor - Experience with children with developmental disabilities

Blair has been an amazing babysitter for our 8-month-old. She is caring, kind, and playful and our daughter is delighted whenever Blair arrives to spend time with her! Our dog loves her, too! She is such a huge help and a lovely person. Highly recommend Blair for your childcare (and petcare) needs.

Lorraine 1 review
$25 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 1 family in Littleton, CO

I’m a retired neonatal nurse practitioner and mother of 4 adult children. I have nannied for several families now that I am retired. I love working with newborns and new parents. I describe myself as a “rent a grandma”. Meaning if your mom could come help you with your newborn anytime you wanted, but you could also tell her to leave when you wanted that’s me. I like teaching new moms and dads about newborn care, sleep schedules and feeding (breast and bottle). Overnight care is available so you can get the rest you need. I have both the professional experience and mothering experience to help you enjoy being a new parent.

Lorraine is by far the most competent and qualified sitter we have ever had and likely ever will, her extensive medical background at the children's hospital is hard to beat. we felt she took very good care of our kids and would love to use her again in the future 5/5 stars and highly recommend.

"We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
