Hi Family! My name is Bailey and I come with an extensive amount of childcare experience with all ages. With over two decades of experience, one of my favorite things in life is to spend time with children and help them learn. My all time favorite role though is being an auntie to my 5 nieces and nephews. I went to college for Intercultural Studies and Elementary Education and have my teaching credential. I started babysitting at a very young age (10 years old to be exact- different times!) and gathered extensive and vast experience throughout the years including full-time nannying, teaching, sports camps, church nurseries, Special Olympics, summer programs, and a dip into baby consulting. The ages I have worked with span from newborn (out of the hospital) to 15 years old (basically just a glorified Uber driver for one family :) ). Since I have worked with so many age groups, I would love to work and watch any child of any age. I love to have fun, be silly, be creative and play with the children. At the same time, I have good discipline and patience for children when needed. I am very respectful of what the parents want for their children and how they parent them. Since I went to school for teaching, I have taken some child development classes and I love putting what I learned into practice! I was a competitive swimmer for 15 years year round and would love to take children swimming if that is something you wanted. I also have been CPR/First Aid certified countless times and was once lifeguard certified and trained. I have a car and would love to run any errands or take the children anywhere. I am very experienced with driving and am an extremely safe driver. I do not mind doing light housework or fixing the children meals, and also pets are not a problem for me. My name is Grace, I am a Colorado native, and I have my B.A. from University of Colorado-Boulder in Psychology & Spanish :) I began working with kids at the age of nine, when I earned my “babysitter's license”. Since then, I've developed a strong foundation in childcare, supported by my CPR and first aid certifications for infants, children, and adults. For the past 8 years, I have taught private swim lessons, guiding children of all ages who are developing their swimming skills & water safety knowledge. I have taught “Kids’ yoga” for 4+ years at an athletic club in Centennial, and also currently work for an indoor ski and snowboard company in Denver! My leadership abilities were further honed through my role as head swim coach for a summer swim team, and student government president. This experience has not only sharpened my instructional skills but also reinforced my commitment to ensuring the safety and well-being of the children under my care. I have my certificate from Massachusetts Institute of Technology in AI and Data Science, and I work remote for NASA training behavioral machine learning models.
