Boulder
$22 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 10 families in Ward, CO

Hi - my name is Kadi. I am offering childcare, pet care, and household services. I am primarily looking for a full time childcare position at this time though! I enjoy being a nanny/babysitter. I have been watching newborns, infants, toddlers, and kids since high school. My responsibilities have included transporting children to and from activities, preparing meals and snacks, crafts, and tidying up the home. I am also available to work as a household assistant. I can complete food prep, clean, and run errands. I have a large family so I have always been surrounded by children and have been assisting my family members with childcare since I was young, but especially during the pandemic. I enjoy animals, but have the most experience caring for dogs and cats. I am happy to work with families who have either or both dogs and cats. I am open to other animals, but I have limited experience outside dogs and cats. Due to personal family matters after my last nannying job, I had to take some time off to focus on said personal matters. I am now looking forward to entering back into the childcare world, and I am looking forward to hearing from you to discuss my experience! Thank you!

Boulder
$30 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 13 families in Ward, CO

Hi! My name is Grace, I am a Colorado native, and I have my B.A. from University of Colorado-Boulder in Psychology & Spanish :) I began working with kids at the age of nine, when I earned my “babysitter's license”. Since then, I've developed a strong foundation in childcare, supported by my CPR and first aid certifications for infants, children, and adults. For the past 8 years, I have taught private swim lessons, guiding children of all ages who are developing their swimming skills & water safety knowledge. I have taught “Kids’ yoga” for 4+ years at an athletic club in Centennial, and also currently work for an indoor ski and snowboard company in Denver! My leadership abilities were further honed through my role as head swim coach for a summer swim team, and student government president. This experience has not only sharpened my instructional skills but also reinforced my commitment to ensuring the safety and well-being of the children under my care. I have my certificate from Massachusetts Institute of Technology in AI and Data Science, and I work remote for NASA training behavioral machine learning models. My diverse experience with psychology, education, technology, and caring for children of all ages, combined with my dedication to responsible care & positive child development, and my passion for working with kids, makes me an excellent choice for whatever your family’s needs may entail. Please reach out to me with any questions or to schedule a booking! I look forward to working with you & helping however I can :)

Grace watched our 10-month-old, 2.5-year-old, and 9-year-old and was incredible. My oldest usually gets bummed when we have a sitter and she has to miss out on the fun, but after the first night with Grace she was actually excited for the next night! Grace was confident, asked all the right questions, and clearly knows what she’s doing. She even remembered what my daughter liked and brought activities for them to do together once the younger ones were asleep. With a baby and toddler it can be hard to make sure my oldest still gets attention, and Grace handled that really thoughtfully. We’d absolutely use Grace again and highly recommend her to other families!!

"We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
