In my 20s, I started my childcare journey working as a temporary/fill-in nanny through nanny agencies, and I worked for several years as the full-time nanny/mother's helper for a family with 6 children. I have raised and home schooled my own children and have cared for several step-children including one with special needs. I have worked with elementary, middle school, and high school students (including as a camp director, counselor, and staff member). I have a clean driving record, and if I were to transport your children, I would be as careful and attentive to them as I would be with my own. I have taken Red Cross Adult/Infant First Aid/CPR/AED training. I am looking for jobs working with families who have fun together, value responsibility and kindness, and communicate well. I have most recently nannied for a toddler who is now going into full-time pre-k. I have a special place in my heart, and arms, for the very young babies, too. Hello lovely families! My name is Lindsay and I am 30 years old. I moved to Denver from South Carolina seven years ago and have been loving every minute in this gorgeous state. I consider myself to be an active, creative, compassionate, open-hearted, loving and considerate person. I love spending my time outdoors exploring what CO has to offer. My hobbies include hiking, backpacking, kayaking, snowboarding, climbing.. anything active and outdoors is for me! I graduated college with an Associate of Arts and have completed all of my classes for Occupational Therapy Assistant and am working on saving to go back to school and complete my OTA certificate in the future. I am the oldest of 5 younger siblings ages 6-18 and have always been around to help care for them. I've nannied throughout high school, in college full time, and throughout my adult years. In total I've been nannying for about 15 years on and off. I absolutely adore and enjoy my job. (I can’t wait to have my own one day!) My most recent nannying job was for a 10 and 12 month old and I watched them for 9 months. I assisted them with learning to walk, discovering new words, sign language, exposure to new places. I have an SUV and am able to provide transportation to and from school, the museum, the park, aquarium, zoo, library, etc. I am also CPR and first aid certified.
