My name is Akyla; I am 20 years old and have 5 years of experience as a nanny. During this time, I have cared for children of various ages—including those with disabilities—always with great affection and responsibility.

I have experience working as a lead toddler teacher (ages 1-2 1/2) at Kindercare, I currently work there and have been for a year. I have babysat my whole life, and babysat my godmothers 2 children very often, a child and infant. I am comfortable with all ages of children but have the most experience under the age of 3. I’m also the assistant teacher for a young Hip-Hop class (ages 8-10). I volunteered at the Audubon society and helped care for the animals (I.e owls, hawks, turtles, snakes, fish, etc). I was the primary dog walker for a neighbor for 3 years. I currently live on a farm with goats, chickens, dogs, a cat, fish, and guinea pigs. I also have experience with other animals such as bunnies and frogs. I deeply care for people and animals, I’m very punctual, outgoing, creative, attentive, a good multitasker, I have lots of patience, and I’m a fast learner. I am first aid certified and will gladly learn anything I can! I was homeschooled by a single mother all my life, along side my 3 brothers. I’d love to share anything else if asked!!

Hello! I am a mom of two sons and have several years of substitute teaching in the early years of my career. I have worked over two decades in the Advertising/Media field yet was recently laid off. I’m in a career transition at the moment, getting my Holistic Nutrition certification online and seeking part time work. I LOVE children and animals! I went to a vocational high school and studied early childhood education, while doing internships at daycares in preschool classroom. Senior year I started working with infants and toddlers as well as preschool in a daycare. After graduation I was a lead infant teacher for 4 years until I had my son in February. Mostly looking for a nanny job that I can take my son with me or take care of the children in my home, depending on your needs. I also have experience with cats dogs and reptile, as I have 2 dogs, 2 cats, and 5 lizards.
