I’m a caring, dependable sitter with several years of experience working with children in both professional and personal settings. I currently work at a youth center providing before- and after-school care, where I work with different age groups and help create a safe, structured, and engaging environment. My experience includes leading activities, assisting with homework and daily routines, supporting positive behavior, helping children work through conflicts, and making sure every child feels included and supported.
I also have previous experience providing one-on-one support to children with autism and developmental needs, as well as babysitting and daycare experience. These experiences have helped me become patient, attentive, adaptable, and comfortable working with children who have different personalities, abilities, and individual needs.
I genuinely love working with kids and enjoy being someone they can feel comfortable, safe, and supported around. I love keeping children engaged through arts and crafts, games, creative activities, outdoor play, experiments, and age-appropriate learning activities. I also enjoy helping children build confidence, independence, social skills, and positive habits while still allowing them to have fun and be themselves.
Safety and communication are very important to me, and I understand how important it is for parents to feel comfortable leaving their children in someone else’s care. I’m responsible, reliable, and willing to work with each family’s routines and expectations.
While I currently work in before- and after-school care, I’m open to transitioning into a full-time nanny or childcare position for the right family. If a family is looking for consistent full-time care and the schedule, responsibilities, and rate are a good fit for both of us, I’d be happy to discuss making childcare my primary role.
