As the eldest daughter, I assumed responsibility at a young age, often balancing the roles of caregiver, mentor, and supporter within my family. While managing my own academic and personal commitments, I helped raise my now 15-year-old sister and 7-year-old brother, providing guidance, supervision, and emotional support. I assisted with homework, daily routines, cooking meals, cleaning, and ensured they felt safe and encouraged during important stages of their development. In addition to supporting my siblings, I played an active role in caring for the elderly by accompanying them to medical appointments, managing paperwork and digital information, assisting with bill payments, and maintaining household responsibilities such as cooking and cleaning. These experiences required strong organizational skills, patience, and maturity beyond my years. Balancing these duties strengthened my resilience, time management, and sense of accountability. Serving as a dependable figure within my household has profoundly shaped my character and reinforced my commitment to responsibility, compassion, and long-term personal growth. I am currently a college student pursuing a medical degree, and while in high school I graduated top of my class with a 4.0, participating in honor society, tutoring, as well as other volunteer programs. I know English, Spanish, a bit of Portuguese, and a few words in Italian.
