Hi, I’m Gracie! I am 27 years old and have over 10 years of experience working with children. I started out volunteering in after school care when I was a teenager. My passion for childcare began early in life, as I found myself the older sister to 5 wonderful younger siblings. Most of my younger siblings are over 10 years younger than me, so I began to help out with their care from an early age. Doing so helped spark my desire to go into childcare professionally. I have also worked a lead teacher for an elementary after school program in Fulton county, as a teaching artist for a theatre education and outreach program in Atlanta, and as an in-home nanny/babysitter for various families for the past 10 years. I have professional experience with children of all ages (infants - teens), and I am also able to help with housekeeping duties, pet care, and homework/tutoring if needed. I am currently open to occasional/date night, part-time, or full time jobs. I am hoping to work with a small pool of families so that I am able to focus on forging strong connections with you and your children! I am also open to working with only one family if it is the right fit for both of us. My approach: In my work, it is key for me to connect with each child as an individual. I am a firm believer that children should be treated as people with their own interests, likes, and dislikes, and that these things should be respected and honored. For that reason, I do my best to tailor my approach to each child and the ways that they learn best. That being said, I love to engage with children through creativity. I love to do activities that involve storytelling, crafts, music, and more. My long term goals include pursuing my PhD as well as my personal acting and writing goals, while also continuing to work in theatre education and outreach. I hope to continue working in childcare as I work towards these goals. If I sound like a good fit for your family, please do not hesitate to reach out so we can talk more! Thank you, and I look forward to meeting you. :)

Hello, I’m Nanny Ayesha, I’m a dedicated postpartum, newborn care, and infant specialist providing nurturing, developmentally focused support for growing families. My approach centers on creating calm, enriching environments through sensory, creative, and educational play that supports healthy milestones and joyful connections. In addition to ongoing family care, I am available for weddings, private events, overnight and weekend travel, and private family support, offering dependable, loving care when you need an extra set of trusted hands. Please note: I do not provide care for sick children—full transparency ensures the best care for everyone. Ask me about my music circles for children, available as an add-on service. These engaging sessions invite little ones to explore rhythm and sound through singing, simple instruments, movement, and playful activities that spark creativity, support early development, and bring joyful connection through music. Looking forward to service your family! Warmly, Ayesha

$25 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 34 families in Jonesboro, GA

Hello, my name is Dorothy. I am new to the area. I graduated from South Carolina State University in 2011 in child development. In the past 7 years I have worked with a variety of different camps throughout the states and other countries so I have experience with working with children. I am working a full time job that will not required me to be around kids. I feel like I love being around kids because they bring me joy in life. I hope you find this helpful and if you have anymore questions about me fill free to message me.

I hired Dorothy to take my son to and from school. I needed someone last minute and Dorothy came through. Ive had a few experiences where sitters take on a job, then quit when they are overwhelmed by the travel demands, but Dorothy thought about what I needed, and was committed to sticking to it. She was punctual, and gave me regular updates regarding my son's drop off and pick up. She also gave me her DL and tag information before I could even ask! That really put me at ease, as we are always nervous, as parents, entrusting others with our children. My son also expressed how much he liked her and felt comfortable with her, and my son doesn't just like anyone..lol. I would definitely hire Dorothy again.

"We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
