Hi families! I’m a 19 y/o college student studying early childhood education! I am bilingual ( English + Spanish) I am located near Wheeling and am available everyday mornings and evenings, except for Sundays! I am available for full time, part time, or one time babysitting jobs! I have previous babysitting experience with ages 2-10. I got a certificate for completion of 450 hours on the job training for Early Childhood Educator apprenticeship program for district 214. I was a student intern at Anne Sullivan Elementary School for 2 semesters my senior year. I also worked part time at a day care at Wheeling High-school. (I currently volunteer at that same day care whenever I’m available) I developed skills such as - problem solving, time management, and interpersonal skills like communication and leadership. I have experience caring for children and elderly family members. I helped take care of my younger brother, who is 13 years younger than me, while my mom was working. I did everything for him: bathing, changing diapers, feeding, playing, taking him out for fresh air, and accompanying him to medical appointments. I also took care of my grandfather, who was bedridden, assisting with bathing and feeding. Additionally, I have experience with pets, as I have my own pet who is 6 years old. I am currently finishing my degree in Finance and I am fluent in both Portuguese and English.

I have a Master’s degree in Teaching and a strong background in childcare, with hands-on experience caring for children from infancy through early childhood. I was a nanny for one family, caring for their child from birth to age 3, and I have also cared for multiple children in a family setting from birth through toddler years. In addition, I have experience as a substitute teacher working with students in grades K–8. I have also raised three boys of my own and taken care off all three of my grandchildren from infancy through age 3.
