Hello — My name is Blythche! I am a Special Education Teacher in one of the Chicago Public Schools. I am teaching primarily Math in High School (I can show you my CPS ID if needed). Before teaching high school, I was teaching Math for 3 years in Middle School. I also have an experience working with younger kids as I was a preschool teacher for 3 years. I used to take care of my grandma when I was in College until she passed away. I love working with seniors because I feel like they have the most genuine heart! I have a certification for Adult, Child and Baby First Aid/CPR/AED from American Red Cross. Growing up, we had a pit bull as another member of our family. After she died, we adopted another dog which was a Shitzu, she passed away last year. Now, I (with my husband) has a 2-year old Shitzu. I love cleaning and washing dishes and I’m also organized at home given my job as teacher! I can help out with cleaning, cooking (especially Asian food), do errands, do laundry and etc…. but I am not able to drive. I am currently on the process of completing my master’s degree so I step away from teaching and I am looking for a side job/full time job similar to my passion as a teacher. Furthermore, I am also a nanny to a family with a 2-year old child about 20 hours weekly.

Che was very responsive, excellent communication and arrived early. My son enjoyed his time with her and I wouldn’t hesitate to hire her again!

As a new nanny, I bring a strong background in healthcare along with a bachelor’s degree in biology, which has given me a solid understanding of child development, health, and safety. I have hands-on experience working in nursing homes and daycares, where I developed patience, attentiveness, and the ability to care for individuals with varying needs. This combination of scientific knowledge and practical caregiving experience allows me to provide thoughtful, responsible, and nurturing care for children. I have strong experience caring for children through years of babysitting my cousins and working in a licensed daycare. Babysitting taught me to manage meals, homework, playtime, and bedtime while adapting to different ages and personalities. In the daycare, I supervised groups, led age-appropriate activities, supported learning and social development, and helped maintain a safe, positive environment.I have supported children’s emotional, social, and developmental growth through age-appropriate activities, positive guidance, and consistent routines. I prioritize safety, patience, and encouragement, while fostering a calm and inclusive atmosphere where children feel secure and valued. I work closely with families to respect household preferences and support each child’s unique personality and needs. These roles built my patience, communication skills, responsibility, and ability to respond calmly to children’s needs. My experience with senior care includes providing companionship, assistance with daily activities, light housekeeping, meal preparation, and support that promotes independence and dignity. I am attentive to physical and emotional well-being, and I approach senior care with respect, empathy, and professionalism. I am also comfortable caring for pets, including feeding, walking, administering basic care, and ensuring their routines are maintained. I recognize the importance of pets as family members and treat them with the same attentiveness and responsibility. Personally, I am patient, dependable, and detail-oriented, with strong time management and organizational skills. I remain calm under pressure and adapt easily to changing situations. My ability to build positive relationships, follow instructions, and maintain confidentiality makes me a reliable and trustworthy caregiver. I take pride in providing consistent, high-quality care that supports the well-being of individuals, families, and households.

I have used Kyla services twice, and when I say she provided great care to my little one it is not an understatement. She is kind, patient and hands on with my little 1 year old who of course is full of energy like any toddler. It is fair to say I would definitely book her again. The only reason for the 4 stars and not a 5 star is because on her third booking, she did cancel on me almost an hour and half before the time slot needed via text. I work where I cannot use my phone, so I advise everyone in an emergency call twice so I know it’s important and I’ll step away. Unfortunately by being not properly alerted as advised it left me in a sticky situation that left my child at a daycare after closing hours and cost me exceptional amount of fee and emergency baby sitter fees. I hope this is 1x learning experience and in the future she does great in her future.

"We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
