Hi! I'm Ariana. I'm a college graduate from Loyola University Chicago with a major in sociology and minor in urban studies. I love studying people and am a very empathetic individual, always staying in touch with others. I have been babysitting for other families since I was 11 years old, starting with friends of my moms and then expanding my work to neighbors and their friends through word of mouth. I am also the oldest in my family, including no older cousins, so I have a natural instinct to take care of others. I have babysat kids of all ages, from infants to middle schoolers and also have experience with children who have disabilities. These experiences include attention disorders, hearing aids, feeding tubes, etc. From October 2020-present, I have worked with children ages infant-11 as a teacher's assistant at the South East Asia Center. My most valuable time has been within the 2 and 3 year old classroom where I create lesson plans, communicate daily with parents about the progress of their children, and facilitate activities. I am intermediate/advanced level Spanish. I have also volunteered as a Big with the Big Brothers Big Sisters program for 2 years and worked with children ages 9-12 there once a week. Working with children has always been a passion of mine and I hope to have a few of my own someday. I'm a very enthusiastic person with an energetic heart that kids have no trouble relating to and confiding in. I am able to help kids with their homework, love playing music with them, having fun outside, and learning about their interests. With that being said, I am also very good at developing boundaries with kids so that they both love AND respect me as the adult. My passions outside of work include music and makeup. I play violin, piano, guitar, and sing as well as write my own music. I also love creating artwork on my own face as well as others'. I love incorporating creativity into my time with children. I often find it inspiring how colorful their minds can be.

My name is Priscila, I am 35 years old, and have BA in International Relations. I've been taking care of kids for more than ten years in total. I used to be a baby sitter in The Palm Plaza Hotel Resort, taking care of kids from 3 months to 2 years. Also I used to be a teacher at Baptist Church, taking care of kids from 5 months to 10 years. My grandmother and my aunt are pedagogies, my mother is also a nanny, and I learned many things with them about children's development. I also love reading books about kid’s education, and I highly recommend the documentary from Netflix called “Babies”, it’s really good! With that being said, I’m constantly educating myself to treat your children as they were mine, to keep them safe, and to become the best mother I will be in the future! Greetings! Since the age of thirteen I knew I wanted to work with children. I have been and currently am a camp counselor, lead daycare teacher, babysitter, church choir director, and Sunday School teacher. Hello, my name is Adriana . A few years ago I worked at a daycare for a few months, taking care of boys and girls of all ages. My job was to make breakfast and lunch for the children, as well as providing personal care and naps. Later, I worked at a fresh market for over 4 years, serving salads among other jobs at the Tony's store. My jobs were in the produce department, cutting fruits and vegetables in the produce department. And... currently, I work in senior care for a company in the south Chicago area. I've been at this job for almost two years. I do housework, doctor's appointments, laundry, banking, among other jobs. I adapt to people. I am very patient and kind, and I travel all over Chicago. I also have letters of recommendation from employers, clients, and family. I like doing a good job, and I only like cats and dogs. And lastly, I'm Mexican and I speak Spanish and basic English.
