Hi - My name is Corey and I'm currently a nanny. I love being a babysitter and have been watching newborns, infants, toddlers, and kids (including twins!) since I was 15 years old. My responsibilities have included driving to/from school, crafts, tutoring, and even dance lessons. I also work as a household assistant and can cook, clean, and run errands. I have been a caretaker for my own grandparents and am comfortable with senior care. I can cook, drive to appointments, or do other tasks.

Hello! (Fully vaccinated for COVID-19 as of 2/2/21) I love working with kids, and have professionally worked with children from toddler age to teens for over 8 years now! I have 5 years experience at a summer day camp back in my home town of Minneapolis, teaching classes from art to gymnastics for children ages 3-11. In addition, I worked with a program called JumpStart at DePaul University, where me and 4 other college students were placed in a preschool classroom on the west side of Chicago to provide teaching assistant support. During JumpStart I learned a lot of early childhood education skills and techniques, and could assist with homework or literacy skills for your children when I care for them. I enjoy reading, painting, staying active, dance, and exploring Chicago. I also have nannied for a family from this site from June 2017 until June 2019. I have babysat since I was 11 years old watching the neighborhood kids, and would love to help out by being a babysitter for you. :)

Drew came on time and very approachable and fun. Quickly got along with my child. Hopefully will see her soon.

Hi! I'm Ariana. I'm a college graduate from Loyola University Chicago with a major in sociology and minor in urban studies. I love studying people and am a very empathetic individual, always staying in touch with others. I have been babysitting for other families since I was 11 years old, starting with friends of my moms and then expanding my work to neighbors and their friends through word of mouth. I am also the oldest in my family, including no older cousins, so I have a natural instinct to take care of others. I have babysat kids of all ages, from infants to middle schoolers and also have experience with children who have disabilities. These experiences include attention disorders, hearing aids, feeding tubes, etc. From October 2020-present, I have worked with children ages infant-11 as a teacher's assistant at the South East Asia Center. My most valuable time has been within the 2 and 3 year old classroom where I create lesson plans, communicate daily with parents about the progress of their children, and facilitate activities. I am intermediate/advanced level Spanish. I have also volunteered as a Big with the Big Brothers Big Sisters program for 2 years and worked with children ages 9-12 there once a week. Working with children has always been a passion of mine and I hope to have a few of my own someday. I'm a very enthusiastic person with an energetic heart that kids have no trouble relating to and confiding in. I am able to help kids with their homework, love playing music with them, having fun outside, and learning about their interests. With that being said, I am also very good at developing boundaries with kids so that they both love AND respect me as the adult. My passions outside of work include music and makeup. I play violin, piano, guitar, and sing as well as write my own music. I also love creating artwork on my own face as well as others'. I love incorporating creativity into my time with children. I often find it inspiring how colorful their minds can be.

She was reliable, punctual, and did a great job helping throughout the shift. She followed instructions well, stayed organized, and was very helpful overall.

"We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
