Booked by 19 families in Chicago, IL

Hello my name is Caroline, I am professional nanny looking to build long lasting relationships with families as a caretaker. I worked as a professional Chef before transitioning into childcare, so if you need me to feed your little ones, I am the right person for you! I just graduated with a degree in Psychology and I am CPR Certified. I am also bilingual with native fluency in both English and Spanish. And have experience with kids from 0-10 years old and long term references from nanny families. I believe in giving kids the space to express themselves while providing healthy and safe guidelines in a fun and educative environment.

Caroline was an absolute delight! She took on a job for us at the last minute, and I am so glad we found her! Caroline was communicative and on-time. She started connecting with my daughter right away and was immediately willing to engage with my daughter on her terms. She kept my very energetic child engaged for hours with minimal screen time, which is essentially miraculous. I will absolutely be hiring her again!

Booked by 1 family in Chicago, IL

Hi! My name is Rue, I’m 23 years old. I’m fairly new to the site and excited to connect with your family! I have been working with children for the past 6 years in an in-home daycare as well as a daycare facility. Most of my experience is working with newborns through middle school age kids. Some of my favorite activities to do with the kids under my care are singing, tummy time, sensory play and exploring different toys for the babies I’m caring for. For my elementary/ middle school aged kids, I like to read books, hands on crafts, and interactive activities. I look forward to meeting your family!

Rue was an excellent sitter for our two month old. It was reassuring to know about her background working with infants, and she did a great job. We’re looking forward to having her back

I love kids and babysitting, I tend to have a lot of patience with kids and my love kids and taking care of them is something that I find natural and easy to do I’ve been babysitting since I was 10 years old. I took care of my younger siblings when my parents went to work and basically I was their mom because my parents were very busy. My responsibilities, I can bath kids, help with assignments and even dance lessons. I also work as a household assistant and can cook, clean, and run errands. I have been a caretaker for my own dad. I can cook, I have a car and a valid driver’s license. I have a cat and I’ll be happy to work with families with dogs and cats.

Genuinely a kind person at heart. Love the kids and came with her own toys to entertain the kids. Spent quality time with the kids by drawing, coloring, painting and resorting to screen time last. I recommend her to any family!

"We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
