I have 12+ years of babysitting experience and I am comfortable with all ages, including infants. I am also available for tutoring!

Hi -My name is Gladys. I’ve been working with kids since I was 15 and I have enjoyed getting to know each different kid. I started by watching my little brothers and sister and quickly learned that I had a talent for connecting with kids. I began watching kids around my neighborhood and even achieved a CPR certificate.

I'm a recent graduate from Howard University with a degree in International Affairs and Community Development. My first experience working with children was at Blackstone Bicycle Works, teaching youth 6-13 how to ride a bike, bike mechanic skills, customer service skills, as well as lots of mentoring and tutoring. I've babysat siblings ranging from 4-10 yrs old since I was 16. I recently left my teaching position at Chicago Excel Academy in the Roseland community and wanted to jump back into more personal youth development and care. I love leaving a positive impact on children's lives and being the person to make them smile. I love being able to be apart of making children the best versions of themselves through proper support, love, and activities best for that particular child. I'm an activist and work hard for my community and taking care of/loving children is a huge part of that commitment.

Short break from teaching! I am fully open all week. I’m flexible every other weekend. HI! I’m AJ and my pronouns are they/them. I am a 31-old open minded and patient person with over 15 years of experience. I hold a Bachelors degree in Environmental Sciences, a Masters in Education, and I teach High School science full time. I specialize in racial minority groups, LGBTQIA+ families, foster/adoptive families, newborns, and multiples but I have experience in just about all things childcare including overnights. My mom has owned a daycare and been a foster care parent for my entire life. I have years of experience with children of all ages and from all backgrounds. As my mother's direct assistant I am licensed with DCFS and certified in early childhood courses through Gateways. My wife and I have a wide variety of animals at home and am able to provide care for any pets present in the homes I work in. I enjoy going outside and walking, making sure to keep the children engaged. I also have experience as a summer camp counselor and a special education paraprofessional. My wife and I are foster parents and we love welcoming new kiddos into our family.
