Hello! My name is Che! I am currently a Special Education Teacher in one of Chicago Public Schools. I am teaching primarily Math in High School (I can show you my CPS ID if needed). Before teaching high school, I was teaching Math for 3 years in Middle School. I also have an experience working with younger kids. I was a preschool teacher for 3 years. I can do tutoring and homework help! I used to take care of my grandma when I was in College until she passed away. I love working with seniors because I feel like they have the most genuine heart! I also have a certification for Adult, Child and Baby First Aid/CPR/AED from American Red Cross. Growing up, we had a pit bull as another member of our family. After she died, we adopted another dog which was a Shitzu, she passed away last year. Now, I am mom of a 2 year old Shitzu. I love cleaning and washing dishes! I don’t know why but I’m also organized at home! I can do cleaning, cooking (especially Asian food), do errands, do laundry and etc…. but I can’t drive. I’m stepping away from teaching to complete my master’s degree so I’m looking for a side job/full time job similar to my passion as a teacher. Currently, I am also a nanny to a family with a 2-year old child about 14 hours weekly!

Che was very responsive, excellent communication and arrived early. My son enjoyed his time with her and I wouldn’t hesitate to hire her again!

Booked by 2 families in Chicago, IL

Hello! My name is Katie, and I’ve been a professional caregiver since 2016. I have extensive experience caring for children from newborns to 13 years old, and I truly love helping kids learn, grow, and have fun in a safe, nurturing environment. I’m comfortable managing groups of all sizes—the largest number of children I’ve supervised alone is six, but I also served as Co-Director of a Child Outreach Program that supported 60–80 kids at a time. These experiences have strengthened my skills in organization, communication, and flexibility while keeping things calm and upbeat. I also have overnight experience through Maryville Crisis Nursery, and am trained in sleep training and crisis response including CPR and First-Aid as well as ServeSafe (food prep). In addition to childcare, I also have experience providing pet care and senior care. Whether it’s feeding, walking, or administering medications for pets, or offering compassionate companionship and daily assistance for seniors, I approach every role with patience, reliability, and respect. Families and clients describe me as dependable, caring, and adaptable. I take pride in creating an environment—whether for children, pets, or older adults—where everyone feels comfortable and cared for. I truly enjoy helping others and would be thrilled to bring that care and energy to your family.

"We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
