Hi there! I'm Baily. My passion is caretaking. I have babysat for my family and other families for a little over 12 years. I've worked with a range of ages starting at 1-16. Kiana 1 review
$20 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 1 family in Elmwood Park, IL

I am a nursing student with a background in the medical field as a CNA and have worked as a professional in a hospital setting. I am bubbly, hardworking, reliable and flexible. I would also be willing to help with any household chores, pets, etc.

Kiana was wonderful. My little one is an average active toddler, yet Kiana was so gentle and patient with him. She read him read books and participated in other activities including meal time. When I came home from work, the house was clean just as I had left it. Which was a shocker because I know with toddlers it seems like you clean up one thing, but they’re into something else😩. But Because the house was clean I was able to really sit and breathe for a second as he napped. Leaving work to do house work is tiresome, so thank you so much Kiana for everything.

$18 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 2 families in Elmwood Park, IL

I am an older sister of two brothers so I definitely know how to handle kids of any age. I’m a super sweet, patient, and fun person around kids. I am currently pre-nursing and work as a medical assistant for a dermatology clinic! I am also CPR certified. In my free time, I like to go to nature preserves, hang out with my brother and or friends, read, and paint while listening to some music. I genuinely love children and I think they bring such a sweet perspective to the world. I also speak multiple languages and have two cats!

Eiman was lovely and patient with my two boys!

$25 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 3 families in Elmwood Park, IL

Hi! My name is Nick, and I’m passionate about working with children of all ages and abilities. I currently work in Chicago Public Schools as a Special Education Classroom Assistant in a cluster program serving Kindergarten through 2nd grade. This has strengthened my commitment to supporting students with diverse needs. Before joining CPS, I worked in an assisted living home, which helped me develop patience, empathy, and strong caregiving skills. I’ve also worked with the Chicago Park District for the past eight years as a summer camp counselor, helping run day camps, lead activities, and build positive relationships with kids. In addition, I coach high school baseball every spring and am currently in my sixth season, which has given me experience motivating older students and creating a supportive, team-focused environment. I’m also a student at National Louis University, where I’m studying Elementary Education. Families describe me as caring, responsible, and energetic. I’m CPR-certified and experienced in supporting children with special needs. Above all, I strive to create a safe, fun, and positive environment where children can learn and grow. I’m looking for a family who values kindness, communication, and trust, and I’d love the chance to provide dependable care you can count on.

$22 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 3 families in Elmwood Park, IL

Hi - My name is Nancy and I've been working with kids since I was 19 and love it. I started by helping my aunt, she used to babysit from home and I really enjoyed helping her. I have two big boys now, one of 19 years old and the other one of 14 years old. Over the last few years, I've worked on babysitting for date nights and on my days off. Primarily with infants and toddlers, but I love kids of all ages. If it's nice out, I like to take the kids outside, but if not, I like to play with them, reading, singing, and for older kids I like to do some crafting too.

"We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
