My first time watching children was when I was in foster care. I use to go to a church and volunteer in the day care center at the church. I worked with children from the ages of newborn up to middle school age. I did the every Sunday for 3 years. Then I started working at Daycare as a temporary or seasonal position with children of the ages of new born till 5 years old. That was the highest age of the daycares Now I am an idependent contractor. I've had 3 families I've worked. Two of the families end up moving out of state. The third famiyl i still work with on occasion.

$16 per hour for 1 child

Hi!! I worked at the James J Eagan center’s summer camp for two years while in high school. Me and my co-counselor were responsible for up to 30 kids daily. We planned activities for them daily, and made sure that they stayed safe daily. I believe that my approach is a strength of mine when it comes to caring for children. I enjoy singing, dancing, playing games, reading, and movies, and I am more than happy to engage with a child’s personal interests. I am willing to obtain a CPR certification if necessary!

Nurturing young minds is my passion. For the past three years, I've dedicated myself to providing attentive care for children, and I find immense joy in fostering their growth. I hold a college degree and maintain current certifications in CPR and First Aid. My approach is patient, calm, creative, and friendly. I enjoy playing board games, puzzles, and educational games. I'm comfortable caring for one child at a time. I prioritize open communication with parents, adapting to your preferred method for daily updates or addressing any concerns. I also follow your lead on household rules. Knowing I can positively impact a child's life and support your family brings me fulfillment. I hope to bring that same peace of mind to your family!

"We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
