Hello families, My name is Melody, and I’m currently an assistant teacher at a Reggio-based school. I have 6+ years of experience working with children ages 4 months to 10 years old. I am very familiar with Montessori and Waldorf teaching as well. My hobbies include reading sci-fi books, yoga, marathon running, collecting vintage vinyls, and cooking plant-based meals! My passion for teaching/babysitting stems from having a younger sibling who’s on the spectrum, with whom I share a 16-year age gap. I’m a very active and theatrical person, which children enjoy! My personal experience as a caregiver starts with helping my older sister with my nephew’s care while I was in my 20’s, then raising my own three daughters, who are now decent young ladies.
