Hi! My name is Em, I’m a nineteen year old college student looking for a part-time babysitting job. I grew up watching my younger sister, as well as both of my nieces when I turned seventeen. I also offer pet-sitting as I have had several dogs in the past and two of my own at the moment. In high school, I volunteered as a teacher’s assistant for an English language class, and although I would love to go back to that, I have to finish school first. I spent 2-3 years working as a certified behavioral technician with children who have autism and special needs, including nonverbal kids and children with challenging behaviors. That experience taught me deep patience, consistency, and how to connect with kids who communicate differently. I recently graduated from Worcester Polytechnic Institute with a degree in Computer Science and am in my gap year, which means I have a flexible schedule and a lot of availability. I've also babysat my younger cousins throughout my life and am comfortable with everything from diapering and feeding infants to homework help and activities with older kids. I have my own car and am happy to drive. I'm also a cat owner and comfortable with pets.
