Janie 1 review
Shrewsbury
$22 per hour for 1 child

Hi! I’m Janie, a loving and reliable nanny/babysitter with 5+ years of childcare experience! I’ve worked in daycares and as a private nanny, mostly with infants and toddlers, but I love caring for kids of all ages. I’m super passionate about helping little ones learn, grow, and feel safe (and have fun while doing it 🩷). I’ve taken multiple early childhood education classes/courses. I’m both CPR and first aid certified as well as being a Certified Nursing Assistant. I also have great references that I’m more than happy to provide! I’m currently looking for part time or full time work and have a very flexible schedule. Feel free to message me or comment with any questions or just to get to know me a bit better☺️

I cannot recommend Janie enough. She was our babysitter for a while, and she truly set the bar for what great childcare looks like. She’s patient, reliable, and genuinely cares about kids, you can tell she does this from the heart, not just for a paycheck. One thing that always gave me so much peace of mind was knowing she is certified in both CPR and first aid. Leaving your babies with someone is scary, but with Janie, I never worried for a second. I always knew they were in safe hands. Even though it’s been a few months since she worked with us (she was with us for years, since my kids were infants/toddlers), the kids still talk about her and ask when they’ll get to see her again. Any family would be truly lucky to have her!

Keerthana Shrewsbury
$25 per hour for 1 child

I spent 2-3 years working as a certified behavioral technician with children who have autism and special needs, including nonverbal kids and children with challenging behaviors. That experience taught me deep patience, consistency, and how to connect with kids who communicate differently. I recently graduated from Worcester Polytechnic Institute with a degree in Computer Science and am in my gap year, which means I have a flexible schedule and a lot of availability. I've also babysat my younger cousins throughout my life and am comfortable with everything from diapering and feeding infants to homework help and activities with older kids. I have my own car and am happy to drive. I'm also a cat owner and comfortable with pets.

Eva Westborough
$20 per hour for 1 child

My name is Eva and I am 20 years old. I live in Westborough, MA but am also familiar with surrounding areas. I am offering babysitting and nannying services, and I am also open to families with cats and/or dogs. I have worked in a daycare setting for a combined total of over 2 years, and I have been working at my current daycare for over a year now. I have worked with ages ranging from infants to 5 years old in a daycare setting and have worked with up to 10 years old while babysitting in past experience. Therefore I can do the basics such as, diaper changes, potty-training, naptime, bottle-feeding for infants or lunches for older children. I love doing arts and crafts with children, reading with them, playing inside and outside, going to the playground, and I can help with homework or practicing writing skills (if age applicable.) I recently became re-certified in both CPR and first aid in early August 2025. I grew up with both cats and large dogs, so I am comfortable with either and would be able to provide basic caregiving for both. I do not have any professional house care experience but I have been cleaning at home for about a decade at this point. I know how to sweep, mop, vacuum, clean counters, handwash or load/unload dishes, clean bathrooms, and organize any areas that may need to be maintained. I have a valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle if transportation is needed, along with a clean driving record. Since I work in a daycare I also have a clean criminal record and have passed all of the necessary CORI checks. Overall, I just love children and helping them grow.

Amelia Marlborough
$15 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 1 family in Northborough, MA

Hi! I’m Amelia, I am currently a college student studying psychology and an associate teacher in an early childhood care center. I’ve spent years working with children of all ages; infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and school‑age kids, through babysitting, teaching, youth leadership, and community programs. I love getting to know each child’s personality and creating an environment where they feel comfortable, supported, and excited to be themselves. With infants and toddlers, I’m confident with feeding, diapering, soothing, nap routines, sensory play, and early developmental milestones. I’m calm, patient, and very comfortable reading cues and creating a predictable, nurturing space. With older kids, I enjoy homework help, creative projects, outdoor time, structured activities, and supporting emotional regulation and independence. I adapt easily to shy, energetic, sensitive, or spirited kids and meet them exactly where they are. I’m passionate about helping children explore the world around them. Whether that’s going outside, doing hands‑on activities, or finding small everyday moments that spark curiosity and joy. Families describe me as warm, reliable, organized, and easy to communicate with. I value building strong relationships with parents and keeping communication clear and consistent. I’m CPR and First Aid certified, comfortable with pets, don’t smoke, and happy to help with light housekeeping, meal prep, and maintaining routines. My goal is always to create a safe, nurturing environment where children can learn, play, and grow confidently. Please be sure of your hours before booking. You are responsible for the full hours listed, even if you arrive home early. I’m more than happy to extend hours as long as there is clear communication ahead of time. This helps me plan my schedule and ensures I can give your family the best care possible.

"We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
