Hi! I’m Taylor , a reliable, energetic, and patient sitter with 8 years of experience working with kids of all ages. I’m EMT-trained and CPR/First Aid certified, so safety is always my top priority. I’ve spent the past 8 years creating fun, engaging environments where kids can learn and play. I’ve provided tutoring, after-school care, overnight supervision, and safe transportation to and from activities. I love being creative whether it’s doing crafts, playing outside, or using our imaginations. I’ve worked with children from 6 months to 12 years in both home and school settings, and I also have professional experience through a babysitting company here in the DMV area. I’m passionate about safety, connection, community and creating joyful experiences for kids and I look forward to working with your family! Some of my certifications includes BLS , CPR and AED training , 150 NICU volunteer hours working with infants and premies getting them to gestational age milestones , over 100 hours in classroom trainings working with ages from Kindergarten to 4th grade

Taylor was available on very short notice and helped us watch our sick 8 month old for a workday. She was punctual, friendly, and our daughter was very happy interacting with her all day. We would definitely hire Taylor again!

Hello families my name is Nakya and I was born and raise in Washington DC. I am very excited to have the opportunity to be part of your family. I have work in the daycare facilities for over 14 years with 10 years experience as a CDA licensed childcare provider specializing in the care of children ranging in age from newborns to teens. I am CPR and first aide certified with special early child care training. also working towards fulfilling my passion in special-education. My favorite Learning activity to do with the children is the five senses I loved this activity because it gives me a chance to watch the children explore their sense while learning all about their five sense. I also enjoy reading, arts and crafts, and engaging in fun creative indoor/outdoor activities that children will find entertaining and fulfilling. My hobbies are writing poetry, reading books and spending time with my family and friends... working with children is my passion and I loved every bit of it.

Nakya was our first care taker for our son (and our first as parents), from the time he was 4 months old to 18 months. She was especially sweet & gentle with a young infant, which was very endearing. As our son grew -- and we added a second family to a nanny share -- Nakya's experience with a wide range of ages became very helpful. She had respectful tips to offer us as the boys grew and developed. Adult-to-adult, Nakya is engaging, energetic, and talkative. And just as she had helpful advice to give, she was very open to feedback. The only reason we don't still employ Nakya is the covid-19 pandemic; we don't currently need childcare. Thank you for everything, Nakya!

My name is Paula, I'm 29 years old, and I've been caring for children for over 7 years, from newborns to 14 years old. My most recent experience is caring for an 11-month-old baby full-time, Monday through Friday, for the past 7 months. I've also cared for an 9-month-old baby for about 8 months, and a 2.5-year-old girl for approximately 2 years. Some of the activities I do with babies include early stimulation to improve their motor skills. I have experience in stimulation with exercises such as tummy time, learning to crawl, and mental stimulation of babies (colors, textures, letters, words). I do activities with them and am fully responsible for their feeding and clothing. I'm currently looking for part-time work, as I'm free on Saturdays and Sundays. I'm a very good driver, with over 10 years of experience, a driver's license, and a clean record. I'm also responsible, patient, committed, punctual, cheerful, and trustworthy. I love my family and animals very much. In short, I really enjoy caring for them, loving them, and teaching them that it is the best legacy of love we can leave.

Paula is amazing with my 18 month year old. She started working with us when she was 6 months and has been invaluable since. She has helped my daughter crawling and then walking. She is great handling my daughter and German Shepard. She is soo gentle and has soo much patience. keeps her active at all times and constantly challenging her to thrive. She takes her to the library all the time and likes to read. She give me peace of mind and I know when I have to go to work she will be in safe hands.

"We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
