Hi! My name is Dakai and I’m 22 years old. I’ve been babysitting professionally since I was 16, but caring for children has always been a big part of my life. I grew up surrounded by babies and young kids, so being around children feels very natural to me. My mom is also a doula and postpartum caregiver, so I’ve learned a lot from her over the years about infant care, patience, and supporting families during important stages of childhood. I have experience working with children ages 0–8, although most of my experience has been with infants and toddlers. I’m comfortable with diaper changes, bottle feeding, nap schedules, meal prep, playtime, bedtime routines, and helping create a safe and calm environment for little ones. I always try to make children feel comfortable, cared for, and engaged while also respecting the parents’ routines and preferences. What makes me a great caregiver is that I’m patient, dependable, nurturing, and genuinely enjoy being around children. Because I’ve spent so much time caring for kids both personally and professionally, I understand how important trust and communication are. Hello! My name is Fatoumata, but most call me Fatima. I am a college senior, public health major looking for experience working with children. I love working with children, in fact, before entering college, I’ve always wanted to be a teacher. After some time I decided that I want to work in pediatrics as a pediatric physician assistant. I worked in before and after school care with Celebree for about a full school year. My job consisted of helping with homework, giving snacks, and of course watching over the children. I am CPR and First Aid certified and I am a certified med tech as well. Also, I used to babysit, not with a company specifically, which included supervision, meal prepping, and nannying/house work.
