Hey friends! Welcome to my profile 🤗 My name is Stephanie, I am the youngest of 5 and I have 5 dogs! I currently attend Montgomery College, majoring in Environmental Science and Policy and Minor in Environmental Horticulture. I also work for a non-profit called City Blossoms, an organization centered around youth driven gardening🌱 I have a strong background in early childhood education. I studied child development all throughout high school and taught fifth grade science as my senior internship. At the time, I also worked in a private preschool as a teachers aid to toddlers and infants. From 2018 to 2025 I worked at a non-profit called, the Student Conservation Association (SCA), leading youth environmental education programs for youth pre K-12, and restorative conservation projects with high school and young adult teams all across the National Capital Region. In 2023 I was contracted to be the Houston Community Program Coordinator. This position gave me the opportunity to work with schools, helping them plan and build their schools community garden and led lessons on food sovereignty in Houston, Texas. To add to my childcare experience, I also nannied for my directors daughter when she was just 6 months old at the time and have babysat for the same two families from 2019 to 2023. I am a third year student majoring in Applied Psychology in Childhood . I have over 10 years experience with children ranging from infancy to pre-adulthood. I began educating those around me since I was a child myself and the gift grew on me. there is a depression that lingers when can no longer enjoy doing what you love; I respect it enough to return back to it. I am proud of those who support the art of love; a deep appreciation has grown over these past years. my passion causes others to be hungry for me which develops fear knowing family will never return back to me from the grave, it humbles me to have been blessed to survive alone.My childhood was robbed from me to join the middle class to only be knocked down, once again. The devil has hired me to work with children who experience the disease of young(trauma) and passion has grown within me knowing my father has been apart of their education. Hi, I’m Tatia! I recently graduated from college and am back home in DC. I have 8 years of professional experience working with children in a variety of capacities, including as a teacher’s aide in school settings, babysitting and caretaking in the home, and serving as an educator and social worker for children through organizational work. Aside from my professional experience, I’m also an older sister to two lovely younger siblings who I’ve cared for over the years, and that’s truly where my passion for working with children began. Through these experiences, I’ve worked with children ages 1–15. I’m very patient, adaptable, and always looking for fun and engaging ways to interact with children. My teaching experience has prepared me to respond thoughtfully to conflicts, support children’s individual needs, and always prioritize safety and care.
