I’ve had a passion for working with children for years. In high school, I volunteered and worked with kids in several roles: camp counselor, camp volunteer, and camp mentor. My duties included supervising children ages 5-15 during lunch, recess, downtime, and field trips. I also led activities like kickball, arts and crafts lessons, and made sure the younger children took their naps. Additionally, I’ve worked with an after-school program called Better Than Schools as an after-school care teacher.
