I have been a child care teacher for 7 years with 8-9 years of child care/babysitting experience. I love playing games, dancing , painting and reading with little ones ! I also love animals (I am alittle nervous with certain dog breeds like the more aggressive ones , but willing to meet them ) . I am willing to do light housework, and meal prep, but I do not run errands as I do not have a drivers license or car. ( yes I do have reliable transportation!)

I love to spend my time planning fun and creative activities, going to the park and ( very recreationally ) playing sports like volleyball, throwing a football, or doing yoga. As for my professional experience, I spent a few years with the YMCA doing before and afterschool care. I worked with Elementary School kids attending the UPA Charter Schools across Detroit. Children I worked with typically ranged from ages 5-12, and I’d supervise them in groups of 10-15, so I’m absolutely equipped for a fast-paced ( and high energy ) environment! Over my time there I enjoyed developing and implementing an engaging and creative after-care program schedule. There’s plenty of extensive training that I’ve had the opportunity to develop as well, including playground safety classes, CPR training, behavioral management courses, and more. I love a structured environment, and developing something that is just as fun as it is reliable and rewarding.
