Hello! My name is Brigid and I have been working with Kids for over 5 years! I have my Bachelor’s of Science in Education and two teaching licenses in Prek- 12th grade education! I am a full time preschool teacher but am always looking for some part time/occasional nannying or babysitting. I have over 5 years of experience with children as young as newborns to early high-school! Kids are my life and bring me so much joy. I have two younger siblings, (shown in my profile picture) 8 and 10, one with autism, that I have taken care of since they were born. Due to a difficult parental situation, I had lots of experience early on for caring for them as infants and toddlers, and let that carry me into working professionally with children since I was 15. I have great child care references I can provide and many past nanny/sitter familes I am still on great terms with and even visit for fun when I am back in my hometown! Hi, my name is Zoe! I have worked with kids in various settings over the past 12 years as a babysitter, nanny, tutor, and ski instructor. My previous work has been with a wide range of ages from newborns to teenagers. I have experience working with different dietary restrictions and food allergies. I am trained on how to use an epipen and have previously been CPR certified. Currently, I am a student at Concordia University in St. Paul studying Child Learning and Development. I enjoy crafts, the outdoors, reading, and staying active. One of my favorite parts of working with kids is engaging in imaginative play. I love helping kids explore their surroundings as well encouraging them to use their minds to solve problems and come up with new ideas. I place a high value on play and feel it is fundamental to the growth and development of children. Through play children gain new skills and understand the world better. As a caregiver it is an honor to be apart of children’s play experiences. I believe that it is important to guide children so they can develop critical thinking skills rather than giving them all the answers or simply doing it for them. I’m a 24 year old, college educated caregiver with a BFA in Graphic Design and a strong background in childcare.
