Kate $14 per hour for 1 child

I grew up with 3 younger siblings, so my experience with babies and children began by being the best big sister I could be. I loved helping my mom with everything from diaper changes to providing my parents with a built in babysitter for date nights. From the ages of 15-18 I babysat/nannied for multiple families in our church. I am also certified in first aid and cpr. I love children and have taken classes in early childhood development. On may 31st of this last year, I gave birth to my first baby, a beautiful little girl. So now I have the best experience I think anyone can have, in caring for my own daughter 24/7. I love it SO much. I love her so much, and I want to provide another family with the same level of care and support and love that I want for my daughter. I have a new understanding of just how much parents do day in and day out to provide a safe, loving, and stimulating environment for their children. I also want to be able to be with my daughter as I re-enter the workforce, and this feels like the perfect way to accomplish that.

Booked by 1 family in Minneapolis, MN

Hi! I’m a bilingual (English/Spanish) caregiver with over three years of experience working in senior living and a certified CNA. I’ve helped support seniors with daily care, mobility, companionship, and more—always bringing patience, compassion, and respect to every person I care for. I’ve also worked in church daycares since I was 16, caring for children of all ages. I'm currently a college student studying psychology and have taken developmental courses that help me better understand the emotional and behavioral needs of both kids and older adults. In addition to caregiving, I offer trusted house-sitting and pet-sitting services. I’m dependable, detail-oriented, and always respectful of others’ homes. Whether I’m caring for a loved one or looking after your pets and space, I treat each responsibility with care. If you’re looking for someone warm, reliable, and experienced—I’d love to help your family feel supported and at ease.

Amanda $25 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 1 family in Minneapolis, MN

My name is Amanda. I am Brazilian with a native Portuguese language. I am married and live in Minneapolis. I have been a nanny for the same family for 8 years, and now I’m looking for a new family for 3 days a week M/W/F because I'm going to UMN 2 days a week. I have been working at Hopkins school Part-time early release. I have experience with children; I LOVE cooking. I worked for 2 years in a new school in Brazil, where I took care of the children, accompanied them in swimming, soccer, and dance classes, helped in the classroom, and also kept the babies in the Nursery, where we gave them food, baths, and time for naps. I grew up in a pedagogical environment with my mother, which made me want to work with children. I believe that we learned a lot from them! I

"We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
