Hello! My name is Sophie and I am a theatre performer and educator from the Twin Cities. I have been teaching theatre and creative play lessons with various theatre companies across the metro since 2022. I have experience babysitting and nannying from ages 6 months - 12 years and regularly do dog walking. I'm Katie, a recent college graduate (Macalester College) with a BA in Creative Writing and Classical Mediterranean history. For the past eight summers, I have worked at Go Girls summer camp in Oakland, California, as an assistant drama teacher, helping kids to express themselves and learn life skills through the creation of their own play. As such, I've learned a lot about how to teach kindness, resolve disagreements, and bring out creativity. Being a camp counselor for a wide range of ages (5-11) has also helped me develop a good amount of patience and multitasking skills that translate well to babysitting siblings. I enjoy working with elementary-school-aged kids, but I also have experience with younger kids, two and above, including overnight work.
