Hi, my name is Zoe! I have worked with kids in various settings over the past 12 years as a babysitter, nanny, tutor, and ski instructor. My previous work has been with a wide range of ages from newborns to teenagers. I have experience working with different dietary restrictions and food allergies. I am trained on how to use an epipen and have previously been CPR certified. Currently, I am a student at Concordia University in St. Paul studying Child Learning and Development. I enjoy crafts, the outdoors, reading, and staying active. One of my favorite parts of working with kids is engaging in imaginative play. I love helping kids explore their surroundings as well encouraging them to use their minds to solve problems and come up with new ideas. I place a high value on play and feel it is fundamental to the growth and development of children. Through play children gain new skills and understand the world better. As a caregiver it is an honor to be apart of children’s play experiences. I believe that it is important to guide children so they can develop critical thinking skills rather than giving them all the answers or simply doing it for them. My hope is to not only help children flourish but to see families thrive.
