$20 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 12 families in South Saint Paul, MN

Hi. My name is Miranda. Currently I am working as a substitute teacher at elementary schools. Thus, I have worked with an array of children. I have experience caring for infants and children of other ages. When babysitting, I like to do art projects with kids, read books, and take walks (if and when possible). I like being silly and goofy with children if they are up for it. I defer to the parents and the child as to what is best in terms of activities. I have housesat and cared for other people’s dogs and cats quite a bit. I can clean a house (I was a hotel maid for three months), cook meals, and run errands in my car. I'm responsible, dependable, and communicable. I have a master’s degree in public health and have lived long term in several countries. I welcome diversity.

My kids adored Miranda - every time she showed up it was an explosion of joy. She's very skilled with kids, being able to short circuit tantrums, getting them engaged in small activities, and begin willing to keep them active.

$20 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 5 families in South Saint Paul, MN

I’m from Colombia and I have lived in the USA for a year while working as an aupair. During my first 6 months in the country I was taking care of 3 girls and a little newborn, and during my last 6 months I was working for 2 girls. I’m an electromechanical tech and while I was in college I used to work as a babysitter in my spare time or as an academic tutor. I am a good driver, a good swimmer, and am trained in infant CPR.

Daniela did a fantastic job with our two littles. She was prompt and professional. She painted with them, played hide & seek and got them to bed. Such a huge help on short notice!

$17 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 1 family in South Saint Paul, MN

Hi I’m Kylie, I’ve enjoyed caring for children since I was a child myself, and had my first babysitting job at 12 for my next door neighbor, my tasks included house care, snacks or re-heating food, allergen specifics, (I’m very on top of this my little brother himself is vegetarian) and child care of course 😁 ! After a while my little brother got older and I was able to watch over him and haven’t stopped! I also worked in a Montessori daycare for about a year as a teachers aid and got my certificate in child care and CPR! Me myself I enjoy cooking, arts and crafts, cosmetology, and nature, my favorite things to do would be painting and doing my nails and my family time. I adore the youth and I go above and beyond to accommodate to parents wishes, Im excited to hear from you amazing families ! I’m certified in AED, CPR and early childhood learning !

Kylie is an awesome babysitter we used to work together to take care of a little girl, we would switch shifts between morning and afterschool,we would put her on the bus and take her off the bus and make her snacks and dinner before her mom or dad came home,Kylie is awesome at communicating and working together to give the best care we could to little Elizabeth and help her parents out even in a short amount of notice, if I had children I would definitely trust Kylie to watch them!

Jordan $25 per hour for 1 child

Hi, I’m Jordan! I’m originally from Milwaukee, WI. I have lots of experience caring for young children, mostly friends’ and family’s kids, which I absolutely love. I’m an artistic and creative person, so arts and crafts are always part of my day, and I enjoy engaging in kid-like activities such as collecting toys, and even watching cartoons. Feeding my inner child brings me a lot of joy which I think makes me relatable and helps kids feel comfortable and excited to spend time together. I’m patient, attentive, and energetic, and I love creating a safe and nurturing environment where children can play, learn, and explore. My background in babysitting multiple kids of different ages has given me experience in keeping routines, encouraging imagination, and adapting to each child’s unique personality. Whether it’s storytime, crafts, outdoor play, or just being a fun companion, I’m dedicated to making each day enjoyable and supportive for the children I care for.

"We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
