I graduated from the University of San Francisco with a major in psychology and several courses on child development. I am CPR certified, and currently work as a case worker for at risk youth in Charlotte. I have worked at the Ronald McDonald house in the UES for children with cancer. I worked at the YMCA at the day care, And also an after school teacher helper for the Richmond district in San Francisco. I was a camp counselor for kinder through first grade. I had about 40 kids in my group and the ratio was always 12:1. I also worked with a program that helped students from low income families reach their grade reading level. I was one on one with about 6 students a day, and I built strong relationships with each and every one of my students. I helped them reach their goal, and gave them the support and resources they needed to do so. I have been a nanny for 10 years and love it!

The kids LOVED Myra! Myra is very responsible and kept the kids busy. They had so much fun and we can't wait to have her back again.

** Same day bookings will be $3+ extra per hour. I have worked a few summers at a daycare helping with babies, toddlers and the bigger children in the summer camps. I also help out my aunt's daycare and I have for the past 5 years. I'm very maternal, children are drawn to me because I'm nurturing. My favorite community service is to volunteer at local schools to read / tutor / mentor children. I have a multitude of nieces and nephews that I watch overnight frequently and I work for a nonprofit organization for children.

Sabrina cared for my two daughters (ages 1 and 10) for over two years, and she was truly amazing. She handled school drop-offs, weekend care, and even occasional overnights. She was always reliable, caring, and wonderful with my girls they absolutely loved her. I’m so grateful for the support she provided our family she truly is missed!

Hello! I’m Andrea, I’m 28 years old. I from Colombia, and I was au pair in Denver Colorado. I took care of two children: 10 and 14 years old, but in my time off I used to take care of other children of different ages. (As you can see the reviews in my profile). I have a lot of experience with children, I’m responsible, I’m patient and I enjoy spending the time with them. I love children and that’s why I try my best being a babysitter. I’m a full of energy person, I’m active and ready to take care of your children.

Hi! My name is Hope. I've worked in the field of childcare for 11 years and as a nanny for 9 years. As a nanny I take a montessori approach to the education & general care of a child. I enjoy creating fun, intellectually stimulating activities for children & infants. I also enjoy taking children to parks, museums, libraries & festivals to learn about the world around them. I babysit in my free time. As a babysitter I enjoy entertaining children though games, reading, outdoor activities, etc. I am CPR/FirstAid Certified. I hope to have the opportunity to work with you and your families !

Hope was punctual and sprung right into action. I could tell she was an experienced caregiver because she was very comfortable with correcting my daughter while I was still around. She actually got on the floor and played with the kids. They both warmed up to her well. I will definitely use her services again.

"We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
