Charlotte Springfield
$12 per hour for 1 child

Hi there! I’m a single, stay-at-home mom to a 7-year-old son who attends Springfield Elementary — just a short 7-minute walk from our home. I am also a licensed foster parent in Nebraska. I’m offering full-time or part-time childcare services from my home and am currently looking to support one family (possibly two, if both families are in agreement). While I’m not operating as a daycare, I provide a safe, nurturing, and educational environment for your child during the day, before and after school, or even for the occasional date night. With experience in homeschooling, I have a wide range of educational books, games, and curriculum materials on hand. We’re also just a short walk away from 3 different parks, a splash pad, and the public library — perfect for fun and engaging outings. Please note: We do have a friendly 12yr old, 35lb mixed-breed dog in the home, so comfort with pets is important. Safety & Medical Experience: I’ve completed CPR and First Aid training for infants, children, and adults multiple times in the past. I am well-versed in emergency response and basic safety practices. I also have experience administering medications to both children and pets and I’m comfortable handling basic medical needs as part of daily care routines. I have had in-depth background checks and classes to be able to hold a current license for foster care. Transportation Availability: I may be able to assist with school or activity pick-ups and drop-offs. My current vehicle is legally a 5-seater, but for comfort and safety — especially when car seats are needed — it realistically fits 4 passengers. Senior Companion Services: I’m also open to offering companion care for senior citizens through home visits. I can assist with light housework, prepare simple meals, take a walk, or just sit and enjoy a conversation or show together. Whether it’s a quick check-in or a few hours of companionship, I’m happy to help support independence and comfort for your loved ones. Pet Care: In addition to childcare, I’m also available for pet care — either in my home (for friendly animals) or through occasional drop-in visits for feeding, walks, or check-ins. I have experience with a variety of pets and would be happy to help care for your furry (or not-so-furry!) family members. If you’re looking for a caring, experienced, and attentive sitter in a warm, home-like setting, I’d love to connect!

"We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
