I nannied full time for a family of 4 kids, ages 6, 4, 2, and 1 that were homeschooled. When working with them, I had also taken on household responsibilities most big household tasks like cleaning, laundry and cooking - while still always prioritizing nurturing the kids development through various in home and out of home activities. Hi! My name is Katie, and I grew up in Manhattan, New York. I’m currently a sophomore at Wake Forest University with an intended major in economics. Go deacs! Throughout middle and high school, I was a part time sitter for 2 children (ages 1-12). A typical day includes picking them up from school, bring them home to start homework, read stories, play games, prepare dinner, tuck them into bed, and clean up common areas before their parents come home. I also volunteered a few times a week at a daycare for underprivileged children. This fostered a unique friendship with not only the children, but families too. My friendly and bubbly personality keeps children happy, and seeing a smile on their face makes me the happiest!

I have experience with children ranging in age from infants to middle schoolers. I am willing to transport to outdoor activities when necessary and also available for overnight stays
